(35 year employee of General Motors, Alumni of Ryerson Institute of Technology, Engineering Technologist Graduate 1962. He was Past Master and Secretary of Mount Zion Lodge #39, Brooklin, A.A.S.R. Toronto Valley 32nd Degree and Grand Lodge Official) Passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health-Bowmanville on Wednesday, August 3rd, 2005 in his 73rd year. Beloved husband of Joyce (nee Alexander) of Whitby. Cherished father of Janet and Marilyn Hill. Sadly missed by his sister Christine Hill. Son of the late John and Alexina (nee Dorward) Hill of Scotland. Family and friends may call at OSHAWA FUNERAL SERVICE "Thornton Chapel" 847 King St. West (905-721-1234) for visitation on Friday, August 5th from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 P.M. Masonic Service at 7:00 P.M. (Retired Senior Executive with the Province of Ontario, Member Art Gallery Board of Port Perry, and a Volunteer Consultant with CESO) Peacefully, on Wednesday, August 3, 2005 at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Oshawa, at age 74. Bill Preiner of Port Perry, beloved husband of Sally. Loving father of Steve and John Preiner of Toronto. Beloved dad and mentor to Jennifer Weiser of San Francisco and Sarah Edmonds of Toronto. Loved Papa to Gryffin and Isabel. A Celebration of the life of Bill Preiner will be held in the First Unitarian Congregation of Toronto, 175 St. Clair Avenue West (at Avenue Road) on Saturday, August 13th at 4:30 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott-Panabaker Chapel", 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171). Loving father of Randy (Marie), Janice (Paul) Rennick and Nancy (Michael) Neely. Loving Papa George to Paige, Kyle, Kenny, David, Keegan and Andrew. Dear brother of Ernest and his wife Jean. DYER, Catherine Ann (nee Wolstenholme)
Passed away peacefully at home on August 2, 2005 with her family around her, in her 55th year. Beloved wife and friend to Richard. Loving mother to their children Michelle (Scott) of Brockville, Mathew (Shannon) of Oshawa, and Joshua (April) of Oshawa. Loving grandmother to their four grandchildren Madison, John Mathew, Dillan, and Brandon. Cherished daughter of Vivian & Harry Wolstenholme She will be sadly missed by her sisters and brother Connie (Ivan) MacKeil of Winnipeg, Jean (Greg) Pyatt of Bowmanville, Harry (Sue) of Brantford. She was loved by her-in-laws Mr. & Mrs. Richard Dyer of Carstairs, Alberta, and by her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Debra & Ken Coleman of Oshawa, Darlene & Larry Schultz of Brooks, Alberta, Denise & Derald Anderson of Tomahawk, Alberta, Dale & Richard Rose of Airdrie, Alberta, Darryl Dyer of Carstiars Alberta, and David & Lisa Dyer of Calgary, Alberta. She will be remembered by her several aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews and her many cousins and friends. Friends may call at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East, Oshawa on Wednesday August 3rd from 7 - 9 p.m. and Thursday August 4th from 3 - 5 and 7 - 9 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the Chapel of the funeral home on Friday August 5th at 1 p.m. Cremation. KEENE, Robert James Maj (ret'd), OStJ, CD
At the age of 62 years. Peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Tuesday August 2, 2005. Robert, of Newcastle Ont., and formerly of Madoc Ont., is the son of the late James & Evelyn (Robinson) Keene. Loving and devoted husband of 20 years to Buryl (Martin). Predeceased by his first wife Norma Jean (Wagar) of 18 years. Cherished father to Kym Jordan (Fred) and Kevin (Mary), and Step-Father to Paul Timmerman Jr (MJ), Leta Waite, Danka Brewer (James), and Thomas Timmerman (Helen). Loving "Poppy" to 12 wonderful Grandchildren. Ever remembered by sister-in-law Bess Lemmon and the girls. Fondly remembered by many other family and friends through his associations with the Ontario Regiment, General Motors, St. John Ambulance, Antique Car Club, Automotive Museum, Ferret Club, and the Royal Canadian Legion. His last days were made special with the love & support of family and friends and those special times with his youngest 3 Grandchildren, Cassandra, Rachel & Robert Jordan. The family will receive friends at THE NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME 53 Division St. N. Bowmanville from 2-4 & 7-9 pm on Thursday August 4th, 2005. Service at Christian Alliance Church in Oshawa on Friday August 5th at 11 am. Interment at O'Hara Cemetery, Madoc, ON at 11 am on Saturday August 6th. Memorial Donations to the Ontario Regiment Foundation or the Canadian Automotive Museum, Oshawa greatly appreciated by the family.

BRILLINGER, Orville David
(38 year employee of General Motors, Canada - Engineering Department) Peacefully at home following a brief illness on Monday, August 1st, 2005 in his 68th year. Beloved husband of Ann. Passed away peacefully surrounded by loving family at Hillsdale Manor on Monday, August 1st, 2005 at the age of 76. Alumni of TGH nursing program and administer of Kingston Road and Leisure World Nursing Homes. Olivia was predeceased by her loving husband William James (G.M. Oshawa). Incredible mother to daughter Judith Dryland-Shapiro and son William Robert (Bob) Dryland. Cherished Grandmother to Hanna and Esme. Special thanks to her loving caregiver Olita Ramos. After a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. Ollie is survived by sisters Helen Bosovich (Yorkton, SK) and Jeanette Urechko (Kamsack, SK), Lena Hudye (Canora, SK), Marion Mahyr (T.O.), Anne Stewart (Beaverton) and Stella McDonald (Ajax) and brother Paul Kuzyk (St. Catharines) and predeceased by brother Joe Puchalski (Courtland). On Monday, August 1, 2003 at Lakeview Manor, Beaverton, after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's. Jean (Topping) Gillespie was the beloved wife of Walter B. Gillespie of Beaverton. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Barbara and Dave Bailey of London, Jane and Mike Palmer of Honolulu and Chuck and Ainsley Gillespie of Beaverton. Grandmother of Karen, Brian and Scott. Acelebration of life service will be held at St. Paul's Anglican Church, 583 Osborne Street, (Durham Road 23) Beaverton on Sunday, August 7, 2005 at 2p.m. The family would appreciate memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society.

IRVING, Isabel
In her 83rd year, passed away peacefully at Ballycliffe Lodge on Monday, August 1st, 2005. Beloved wife of the late William George. Loving mother to Bob, Bill and Steve, daughter-in-laws Debbi, Gillian and Diane, grandchildren Kaitlyn, Jamie, Christine, Matthew, Jonathan, Ryan, Brad, Justin and great grandchildren Amelia and Liah. Special thanks to the nurses and staff at Ballycliffe Lodge for their excellent care and support. In keeping with Isabel's wishes, a private family memoriam will be held at a later date. Passed away peacefully at Campbellford Memorial Hospital on Monday August 1, 2005. Marion in her 83rd year. Marion was a Silver Cross Lady who lost her first husband Robert Elgin Woodward May 20, 1944 in WWII, who was buried in Casino, Italy. Beloved wife of George Kingsland. Dear mother of James Woodward & his wife Doris, Robert Woodward & his wife Dorothy and Carlyn & her husband Michael Ruckstuhl. Predeceased by her brothers and sisters Helen, Willamina, Lillian, Margaret, Earl and James. She will be truly missed by her grandchildren Kim, Michael, Anthony, Karl and Charlene and by her great grandchildren Paul, David, Joey, Gregory, Courtney, James and Jacob. Resting at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East, Oshawa with funeral service in the Chapel on Friday August 5, 2005 at 11 a.m. Interment Thornton Cemetery.
