Entered into rest on June 10, 2005, at Caressant Care, Lindsay, in her 92nd year. Ferne was the only child of the late Nelson and Ida Ledgett. She attended O'Neill Collegiate and Toronto Normal School. Most of her teaching career was spent at Mary St. School, Oshawa. She is fondly remembered by many cousins and friends. In 1954 he was Assistant Grand Director of Ceremonies for Grand Lodge A.F. & A.M. of Canada. Member of the Pickering Historical Society and a longtime volunteer at Brougham Museum. Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 8, 2005, in his 101st year. Beloved husband of the late Grace. Loving father of Jack and his wife Allana, and the late Donald and his wife Margaret.
