BAWKS, Kathleen (Kay) Mary
At Lakeridge Health, Oshawa on Saturday June 11, 2005, Kay Mary Bawks, beloved wife of the late John (Jack) Bawks. Loved mother of Margaret Mary Southern (Brian). Dear sister of Celia Wigg and the late Vera Siblock, Anne Naish and Helen Podwinski. Sister-in-law of Norm Naish, Bill Bawks and the late Maddie Neill. Kay will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and extended family. Funeral Service was held in the chapel of the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME 124 King Street East, Oshawa on Tuesday June 14, 2005 at 2p.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Memorial donations to the CNIB or the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.

JACKSON, Herbert
On Saturday, June 11, 2005 at Oshawa General Hospital. Herbert, beloved husband of the late Isabel. Dear father of Mike and his wife Trish and Chris and his girlfriend Julie. Fondly remembered by grandchildren Danielle, Brett, Madison, Riley and Piper. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 16th at 4p.m. from Kedron United Church (corner of Conlin Road and Ritson Road North, Oshawa). Visitation at Church 1 hour prior to the service. Cremation. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. A small gathering to follow service.

HARSHAW, Eileen
Peacefully at Fairview Lodge, Whitby, on Friday, June 10th, 2005 in her 95th year. Beloved wife of the late Alex Harshaw. Dear mother of John Religa (Gina), Darlene McIntyre, Susan Brozina (Bob). Step mother of Tom Harshaw (Dorothy), Dave Harshaw (Christa) and the late Ted Harshaw. Loving Nanna of 16 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson. Lovingly remembered by Margaret McNeill, Gwen Harshaw, Joyce McGee, Carol Shuttleworth, and her extended family and friends. Friends may call at OSHAWA FUNERAL SERVICE, "Thornton Chapel", 847 King St. W., (905- 721-1234) on Saturday, June 18th from 2 p.m. until time of Memorial Service in the Chapel at 3 o'clock. LEDGETT Annie Ferne
Entered into rest on June 10, 2005, at Caressant Care, Lindsay, in her 92nd year. Ferne was the only child of the late Nelson and Ida Ledgett. She attended O'Neill Collegiate and Toronto Normal School. Most of her teaching career was spent at Mary St. School, Oshawa. She is fondly remembered by many cousins and friends. Her funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 14, 2005 at McINTOSH-ANDERSON FUNERAL HOME LTD., 152 King St. E., Oshawa (905-433-5558). Interment Salem Cemetery. Donations made to a charity of choice would be appreciated.

SLIJEVSKI, Vera
Peacefully at Hillsdale Estates on Friday June 10, 2005, Vera Slijevski in her 96th year. Dear sister-in-law of Lydia Morysiak and her husband Kazimierz. Predeceased by her brothers Alexander Slijovski and Leon Slijovski. Dear aunt of Peter Slijovski and his wife the late Arlene, Susan Beach and her husband David, Rick Morysiak and Edward Morysiak, great aunt of Alexander (Paulette), Jason, David, Wendy (Joe Langden), Anna (Collin Bradley) and Peter and great great aunt of Kylie, Samantha, Cynthia and Alyssa. A special thank you to her friends and staff at Hillsdale Estates for their care and compassion. Resting at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME 124 King Street East, Oshawa, Mass of Christian Burial will be held from Holy Cross Catholic Church on Monday June 13th, 2005 at 10 a.m. Interment Thornton Cemetery. McLEAN, Donald A.
Retired from Dun & Bradstreet after 45 years. Serving for 79 years as a Mason with The Imperial East Gate Lodge A.F.&A.M. No. 543 G.R.C. In 1954 he was Assistant Grand Director of Ceremonies for Grand Lodge A.F. & A.M. of Canada. Member of the Pickering Historical Society and a longtime volunteer at Brougham Museum. Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 8, 2005, in his 101st year. Beloved husband of the late Grace. Loving father of Jack and his wife Allana, and the late Donald and his wife Margaret. Dear grandfather of Diane, and Brian and his wife Liz. Predeceased by brothers Hugh and Cameron. Gregory, beloved son of Stephen Taylor and his wife Sonia Kinach, and Janine and her husband Ken Roy of Port Hope, Loved brother of Sam and Kendra and loved step-brother of Jennifer and Erica. Dearest grandson of Christine Bailey, and Ron and Judy Vivian, and dearest step grandson of Antonina Kinach. Loved nephew of Michael Taylor, Janice Taylor, and Nelson Taylor. Gregory will be deeply missed and remembered fondly by all his loving family and many great friends. He is survived by his brother George & his wife Donna. He will be sadly missed & fondly remembered by his family, his friends & his business associates.
