HIBBARD, Rexine
Passed away peacefully on May 7 at the Ajax - Pickering Hospital, surrounded by loved ones, having fought a valiant battle with numerous severe health problems. (She won !) Having declared recently that she was tired of hurting and had better places to be, she is now enjoying that for which she worked her whole life. She continues her walk with her Lord in a more real sense now, in a body no longer disabled or ravaged by pain. Rexine was born in Gananoque, Ontario but has lived in the Durham Region for the past 18 years. She was 54 years old. She will be sorely missed by her loving husband Murray, daughters Ashley and Amy, sisters Arline Coates and Betty Roddick in Kingston and Pauline Spies of Gananoque, brother Brian Thompson of Kingston, and numerous nieces and nephews. The funeral will take place at Cedar Park Church of Christ, 1 Cedar St., Ajax at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 12. Sympathy may be expressed via donations to the Pregnancy Help Centre of Durham where she was a volunteer.
