Peacefully at Fairview Lodge, Whitby on January 29, 2003 in his 95th year. Predeceased by May Corris (1992). Beloved husband of the late Gertrude Corris (2001). Dear father of Robert, Wayne, Claire, Ralph, Retha, Grace and the late Laurel. Survived by sisters Grace Towsley and Mary Steinert. Sadly missed and always remembered by many nieces and nephews. DRAKE, Arlene
It is with great sorrow and sadness that the family of Arlene Drake wish to announce her passing on Wednesday January 29, 2003 in her 65th year at Lakeridge Health Oshawa. She peacefully succumbed to a courageous battle with lung cancer. Arlene's memory will be forever cherished by her adoring husband Harold, of 39 years, loving children Kern, Lori (Troy) and Cheryl and the loves of her life, her grandsons, Jamie and Connor. She is survived by her mother Lily Pollard. Arlene will be fondly remembered by her brother Bill, sister-in-law Cathy, nephew Ian and special friends James and Roman. Arlene enriched the lives of all who knew her. Her selfless, giving nature will live on in our hearts forever. Arlene and her family would also like to thank the exceptional nursing staff of 6F Oncology and Dr. Peter Noble for their kindness and compassion during a very difficult time. Their sincerity and caring will never be forgotten. At her request, a private family ceremony will be held. HALL, Cecil
Said "goodbye" early on January 29th 2003. He died in his 73rd year after a short illness in Lennox and Addington Hospital Napanee and leaves to mourn his beloved wife Marion, children Bryan (Cheryl), James (Donna), Barbara (Allen Lyons) and Jeffrey as well as his grandchildren Lynda, Andrew, Michael, Jason and Crystal. Cec is also missed by his surviving sisters Bernice Lowery, Margaret Irvine and Nancy Eggleton, his mother-in-law Thelda Rutt and many relatives and friends in Napanee, Lindsay, Haliburton and throughout Ontario. Cremation has taken place, but a brief Service of Committal will be held in the chapel of Mount Lawn Cemetery, 2000 Dundas Street East, Whitby, on Saturday February 15 at 12 noon. Flowers are respectfully declined, but please consider donating time or money to your favorite Charity or, as a lasting memorial to Cec, teach a child to fish, or to play ball or to skate, he would have liked that.

Peacefully, at his residence after a long battle with cancer on January 29, 2003 in his 64th year. Loving husband and life long friend of Betty of Napanee. Dear father of Maureen Borg of Ajax and James Reid of Calgary. Sadly missed by son-in-law Mario and daughter-in-law Becky. Cherished grandfather of Landon, William, Tanis, Olivia and wee Charlotte. Predeceased by his brother David and he will be sadly missed by his sisters (all in Northern Ireland) Florie, Charlotte, Tilly, Sadie, and Barbara and sister-in-law Mary of Scarborough. Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews and friends.
