Loving son of Ivy & her husband Denis Lauchlan and the late Jack Colebrooke. Dear brother of Jackie Gallagher, Terry Gehmair, and the late Chris & Bonnie Colebrooke. EVANS, Captain Douglas Haig

On Sunday, January 19, 2003 at the age of 34. Doug was the beloved husband of Elsie for 59 years, the loving father of Laurie, and the very proud 'Gramps' of Mike and Chris. He was predeceased by his dear son-in-law Barry. He will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by his many friends and relatives in Whitby, Winnipeg, England and Wales. The family would like to thank the very kind and competent staff of 6F at Lakeridge Health Oshawa. According to Doug's wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral. A memorial gathering will be held at a later date.
