Quietly at Lakeridge Health Corp. - Oshawa on Sunday, January 19th, 2003. Husband of Mary. Father of William (Bonnie), James, Bryan, Kenneth. Step father of Cindi and Christine. Grandfather of 9. At Russell's request, no funeral service will be held. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME.

Suddenly at his home in Oshawa on Sunday, January 19th, 2003 in his 88th year. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy. Dear father of Nancy Smith and her husband Bob and Marilyn Lowe and her husband Gary. Lovingly remembered by grandchildren Craig, Tania, Julie and Patrick and great grandson Christian. Brother of Fred Forster and the late Ethel Smith. At Lakeridge Health, Oshawa on Sunday, January 19, 2003. Mabel (nee McBride), beloved wife of the late Alan Jones. Dear daughter of Marjorie and the late Frank McBride. Dearest mother of Tammy Ferreira and her husband Patrick and Shane Jones and his wife Laurie. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren; Shannon and her husband Ryan Kerr, Kyle, Stephanie, Brandon, Nathan, Justin and Brodie and by her great-grandson Dylan. She will be sadly missed by her brothers and sisters; Arnold (Melanie), Doreen (Darwin), Dorothy (Gary), Doug (Margie), Lois (Bruce), Margie (Brad). Ricky (Gail) and their families. A heartfelt Thanks to the doctors and nursing staff at Lakeridge Health, Oshawa for their excellent care and support. Resting at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East, Oshawa, with funeral service in the Chapel on Wednesday January 22, 2003 at 11 a.m. Interment Mount Lawn Memorial Gardens. Loving mother of Cheryl and her husband, Gary Jackson, Albert, Barb and her husband Dennis O'Leary. Predeceased by daughter Dianne. Cherished Grandmother of Coey, Cami, Jamie, Dennis and Darlene and Great Grandmother of Calysha, Ashley and Megan. Sadly missed sister of Fred Childs and his wife Morag and Lily and her husband the late Ernie Lalonde. Lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews. Died peacefully in her sleep, at Shaver Hospital, St. Catharines, on Sunday, January 19, 2003. May (nee Wells), in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Thomas M. H. Mitchinson. Dear mother of Eric and wife Ellen of Jordan and James (deceased) and wife Mary. Loving grandmother of Laurie and Steve Park, Gayle and Larry Houle, Tom and Gwen Mitchinson, Jane Krestianko, Kate Mitchinson and great-grandchildren James and Lauren Houle, Gregory and Nicole Park, Jordan and Erika Mitchinson, Kaitlyn and Jamie Krestianko. Sister of Mary and Al Parker of Oshawa and predeceased by Charles and Ellen. Sister-in-law of Margaret Wells of Oshawa, Eric Mitchinson of Calgary, Robert, John, Frank and Annie, all of England and predeceased by Norman, James and Evelyn. Remembered by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may pay their respects at the McINTOSH-ANDERSON FUNERAL HOME LTD., 152 King St. E., Oshawa (905-433-5558) on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A service will be held at ST. GEORGE'S MEMORIAL ANGLICAN CHURCH, 51 Centre St. S. (at Bagot St.), Oshawa, on Friday, January 24, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. Interment Thornton Cemetery. PALLISTER, Denis
Passed away suddenly, in his 70th year, Sunday, January 19, 2003. Husband of Grace (Baker) for 49 years. Loving Dad of eight children, eight sons and daughters-in-law, twenty-one grandchildren, one great-grandchild and one on the way. Proud owner of Oshawa Pattern & Model. Remembered by brother Al, predeceased by brother Archie. There will be a celebration of his life on Saturday, January 25th, 2003, 1 pm to 6 pm at Garnett Rickard Complex, Hwy. 2 and Hwy. 57, Bowmanville. Donations can be made to the Cancer Society. Peacefully, at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, on Sunday, January 19, 2003 in her 76th year, Iris, beloved wife of the late Harvey. Loving mother of Gary and his wife Angela, and Gail Sparks. Lovingly remembered by her many relatives and friends. The family will receive friends at the W.C. Town Funeral Chapel from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. An Eastern Star Service will be held on Tuesday evening at 7 p.m. Service in the Chapel on Wednesday, January 22, 2003 at 11 a.m. Spring interment will take place at St. John's Anglican Port Whitby Cemetery, Whitby. Peacefully after a short illness on Saturday, January 18, 2003 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa. Hubert, beloved husband of Ingrid. Loving father of Hyacinth Armstrong, Deano Armstrong, Donna Armstrong and loved stepfather of Karen and her husband Ross Holder and Kevin Gill. Loved grandfather of Jermaine, Jalunar, Syrraiah, Zchakeil, Tyjae, and Jahlique. Hubert will he missed by his loving family here and in Barbados. Friends may call at The ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East, Oshawa, on Monday January 27th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday January 28th at 11am at St. George's Memorial Anglican Church. Interment Thornton Cemetery, Oshawa. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Gayle, Kim, Kern, Michael, Scott and Troy. Dear brother of Margaret Flintoff, Shirley Twining and Richard Dingman. Predeceased by his sister Jean Adams and his brother Earle. Fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews and their families.
