DUMOND, Donald
Peacefully on January 18, 2003, Don, in his 76th year. Beloved husband of Danielle and father of Jean Paul. Friends are invited to a Celebration of Don's life on Sunday, February 9th at 5 p.m. to be held at the Royal Canadian Legion #459 Hall (corner of Ninth Ave. & Main St., Stouffville).

GORYCKI, Josephine Sophie (Josie) Nee Halik
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother and friend. Josie passed peacefully surrounded by her family at Lakcridge Health-Oshawa on January 18th, 2003 in her 86th year. Josie was the beloved wife of the late John Gorycki, dear sister of Stella Latawiec and John Halik. Beloved Mother of Glenys and her husband Stan Masternak, Ron and his wife Irene, Judy and her husband Bob Gow, and Jim and his wife Yolanda. Babcia of Kelly and her husband Jim Dunlop, Kerri and her husband Craig Couch. Brent Gow and his wife Ruth, Kevin, Krystyna and Jamie Gorycki. Great Babcia of Jason Masternak, Darren and Trevor Couch. Great-Great Babcia to Tyler Masternak. Josie was a great supporter of the Polish community in Oshawa and the Polish Women's Auxiliary, Branch 21. Visitation was held at OSHAWA FUNERAL SERVICE 'Thornton Chapel' 847 King Street West (905-721-1234). Mass of Christian Burial was held at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Tuesday, January 21st, at 10:30 A.M. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. In Her Memory, Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.

KELLAR, Faith
Passed away quietly at home in her 37th year on January 18th, 2003 after losing her battle with breast cancer. Faith leaves behind her beautiful daughter Samantha, age 6, and her loving husband of 19 years, Todd Hansen. Faith will be dearly missed by her best friend Jennifer Simpson and dear friend Darrell Playford. Faith also leaves behind a large family of siblings and friends. She will be greatly missed by everyone. Funeral arrangements entrusted to W.C. Town Funeral Chapel. Cremation to take place with visitation to follow on Saturday, January 25th, 2003 from 2 to 4 p.m. followed by the funeral service in the Chapel at 4 pm. In memoriam, donations may be made to the Durham Regional Cancer Centre of Lakeridge Health Oshawa.

At Hill House Hospice, Richmond Hill, ON, on Saturday, January 18, 2003, in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Clarence Latta. Loving mother of Marilyn Bilsky and her husband Ron of Oshawa, David Latta and his wife Sharon of London, Harold Latta and his wife Judy of Elliot Lake, Bryan Latta and his wife Su-Zhen of Wolfville, N.S., Margaret Latta of Thornhill, and the late Susan Latta. Dear grandma to 11 grandchildren. Sister of the late Peter, Don and Phyllis. Sister-in-law of Grace Latta of B.C. Relatives and friends will be received at McINTOSH-ANDERSON FUNERAL HOME LTD., 152 King St. E., Oshawa (905-433-5558) on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A service will be held in our chapel on Wednesday, January 22, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. Interment Mount Lawn Cemetery, Whitby. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hill House Hospice would be appreciated.

NEYMAN, Shirley Evelyn
Peacefully after a lengthy illness on Saturday, January 18, 2003. Shirley, in her 74th year. Beloved wife of the late James Ambrose Neyman. Loving mother of Kathy and her husband Bryan Rhodes, and Joannie and her husband Chris Shouldice. Dear grandmother of Tim, Emily and Jennifer. A Service of Remembrance will be held in the chapel of Village Retirement Centre, 1955 Valley Farm Road, Pickering, Ontario on Saturday, January 25, at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations to Canadian Mental Health would be appreciated by the family.

WYLIE, John
At Strathaven Life Care Centre, Bowmanville, on Saturday, January 18, 2003, at 55 years of age. Beloved son of the late Rev. George and Daisy Wylie. He will be sadly missed by his cousins, Jean and Keith Mellow of Kingston, Nancy Reid and Donald Wylie both of Toronto and their families. John will be fondly remembered by Donald Smith and family, Jim and Robin Hobbs and Bessie Mellow. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 21st from 12:30 p.m. until time of service at l:30p.m at Faith United Church (1778 Nash Rd., Courtice.) Interment Mount Lawn Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Charity of your choice would be appreciated and may be made through the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME.

HAMPSON, Jean (Campbell)
Beloved wife of the late John Hampson. Loving mother of Elizabeth (Charlie), Jack (Jill), Art (Connie), Ken and Peggy (Jim). Died peacefully at home on Friday, January 17th, 2003. Will be sadly missed by her grandchildren: Jeremy, Kimberly, Kyle, Brieanne, Nancy, Brian and Diane. Jean recently celebrated her 80th birthday with family and friends. Age 92 years. Passed away peacefully with the love of his family at Marnwood Lifecare Centre on Friday, January 17th, 2003. Beloved husband of the late Nellie Hasiuk. Dear father of Sylvia, Jerry & his wife Pat, William Jr. & his wife Gail. Lovingly remembered by 7 grandchildren and his great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Ann Motel. Special thanks to Marnwood Lifecare Centre, Dr. Irish, the Staff of the 2nd floor and Emergency Departments at Bowmanville Hospital for their excellent care and compassion. Visitation will take place at The Northcutt Elliott Funeral Home 2-4 & 7-9 pm Sunday January 19th. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel at 11am Monday January 20th. Spring Interment at St. Wolodymyr & St. Olha Ukrainian Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Children's Wish Foundation.

Passed away peacefully at his residence on Friday, January 17. Ben Nieuwenhuis, in his 76th year. Loving husband of Margaret. Loving father of Ben and his wife Diane of Bowmanville. Dear brother of Pieter. Rested at the COURTICE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1587 Highway #2, Courtice (1.5 kms east of Townline). OLENDER, Michael (Mike)
At the Ajax and Pickering Health Centre, on January 17, 2003, at the age of 78. Beloved husband of Kay. Much loved father of Ron and his wife Lorraine Shrimpton. Devoted grandfather of Laura-Lynn, Mary Ellen, and Ann Marie. Very proud great-grandfather of Kyle, Kalyn, and Noah. Survived by his 2 brothers. The family will receive friends at the McEachnie funeral Home, from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday. Service to follow in the Chapel at 4 p.m. Cremation. Should family and friends so desire, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.

PATERSON, Scott
(Park Supervisor with the City of Toronto and owner of Paterson Landscaping). Peacefully, at home, on Friday, January 17, 2003. Scott, beloved husband of Patty. Dear father of Jason, Sarah and Dean. Loving son of Maurice and Marilyn Paterson of Port Perry. Dear son-in-law of Elizabeth and the late Clifford Scott. Loving brother of Wayne, Barry, Blair and Maureen. He will also be deeply missed by his many nieces and nephews, as well as family and friends. The family will receive friends at the Westney Heights Baptist Church (1201 Ravenscroft Road, Ajax), from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, January 21, 2003. The service will be held at the church on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. Spring interment at Pine Grove Cemetery in Norland. If one so desires, donations to the Westney Heights Baptist Church Building Fund or a Charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.

STUART, Robert William
Passed away peacefully on January 17th, 2003 at Lakeridge Health Centre in Whitby. Beloved husband of Lois and father of Grant and Deidre. Survived by his sister Marion and her husband Robert and family. Member of the RCAF 420 Wing, Lifetime member of the Oshawa Flying Club, recent recipient of the Queen's Golden Jubilee Medal, Oshawa Senior Citizen of the Year Award 2002. A memorial service will be held at the RCAF 420 Wing, Oshawa Airport on Saturday, February 8th, 2003, 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.
