MEIKLE, Lashawn
September 21, 2006 - October 21, 2006
At Cambridge Memorial Hospital at 1 month of age.
Beloved son of Lincoln Meikle and La-Toya MacLeod. Dear brother of Laquwan Meikle. Dear grandson of Maysades Meikle, Susan MacLeod, Frank Hallett, Lincoln Meikle Sr., and Sylvester Sheriff.
He will be sadly missed by his aunts and uncles; Natalie Meikle, Rhonda and Christian Pelley, Monique Meikle, Natoya Meikle, Anthony MacLeod and by his many cousins and extended family.
Resting at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East, Oshawa, with funeral service in the chapel on Thursday, October 26, 2006 at 11 a.m. Memorial donations to the Hospital for Sick Children would be appreciated.
Visitation will be held Thursday from 10 a.m. - 11a.m.

CHARTIER, George (Gene)
Passed away peacefully at Rouge Valley Health (Ajax-Pickering Hospital) on October 20, 2006.
Predeceased by his beloved wife of 59 years, Mary.
Survived by his companion Joan Bird of Whitby.
Dear father of Gene (Gillian) of Oshawa and Thomas (Donna) of Edmonton.
Devoted grandfather of Gene (Karen) of Oshawa, Thomas (Sharon) of Courtice and Brian of Ottawa. Fond great-grandfather of Katherine, Creighton, Hannah, Logan and Emma.
Special uncle of Ovila (Joyce) Lamarche, Jeanne (Roger) Riberdy and Karey-Anne (Jason) Large.
He will be sadly missed by his loving family and friends.
Visitation will be held at the W.C. TOWN FUNERAL CHAPEL, 110 Dundas Street East, Whitby (905-668-3410) on Monday, October 23 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
Funeral service at the Chapel on Tuesday, October 24 at 11:30 a.m.
Interment at Resurrection Cemetery, 355 Taunton Road East, Whitby.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.

ADAMCEWICZ, Jan
Passed away peacefully surrounded by the comfort of his family on October 20th, 2006.
Beloved husband of the late Leonarda.
Dear father of Jeannie Wiltshire and her husband Glenn, Wanda Bickle and her husband Chuck and the late Donna Reid and her husband Terry.
Brother of Mitch and the late Waclaw, Chester and Michael.
Lovingly remembered by grandchildren Taryn and David Wiltshire, Kamali and Leah Reid, Kent and Erica Bickle. Friends were received at OSHAWA FUNERAL SERVICE, "Thornton Chapel", 847 King Street West (905-721- 1234) on Sunday, October 22nd, 2006 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 P.M.
Rosary was held Sunday at 7 P.M.
Mass of Christian Burial was held at ST. HEDWIG ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH on Monday, October 23rd, 2006 at 10 A.M.
Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
Memorial donations to the Durham Region Cancer Centre or to Lakeridge Health - Bowmanville Continuing Care would be appreciated.

MCKNIGHT, Frederick Allen
(Retired employee of Duplate)
Fred, husband of the late Rose Powlenzuk.
Died peacefully in his sleep at the Lakeridge Health - Bowmanville on Friday, October 20th, 2006 in his 95th year.
Survived by his daughters Ruth (Milton) Bryant, Barbara (Mike) Kalynko.
Loving gramp's of Brenda (Paul), Wayne (Patty), Larry (Sonya), Ed, Glenn (Marg) and John (Lina).
Dear great-grandfather of Jason (Kerry), Stephanie (Greg), Ashley, Jessica (Andrew), Brandon, Gregory, Jennifer-Lynn, Joshua and Cassandra.
Loving great-great-grandfather of Landon, Kaylea and Nikayla.
Dear brother of Garfield and Dick and brother-in-law of Eleanor McKnight and Helen Powlenzuk.
Son of the late John and Florence McKnight and predeceased by his brothers Wes, Clifford, Raymond and Cecil.
The family would like to thank the Lakeridge Health - Bowmanville for the care they gave our Dad.

For visitation on Saturday, October 21st from 7 - 9 P.M. and Sunday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 P.M.
A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Monday, October 23rd at 11:00 A.M., followed by interment at St. Mary's Ukrainian Cemetery.
Donations made to the Alzheimer's Association or the Canadian Kidney Foundation would be appreciated.

RIDDELL, Donna Jean
Entered into rest at her home on October 20, 2006 after a valiant battle with cancer.
Donna was the loving wife of Lawrence for 40 years and hand picked by god to be the devoted mother and champion of Nancy, Brian (predeceased in 1986), and Sharryn.
She was the caring sister of Jack Bickford, Joyce (William) Johnson (both predeceased), Judy (Richard) Anderson, Blanche (Andrew) Palesh, Junior Bickford, Dorothy (William) Chadwick, Donald Bickford (predeceased), Edith (Robert) Knight and Lennard (Colleen) Bickford.
Fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and friends.
In Donna's memory, memorial donations may be made to the Uxbridge Cottage Hospital Foundation or to the Canadian Cancer Society.

DOCKRILL, Catherine Maye (Anderson)
In loving memory of Catherine Maye 'Kaye' Dockrill, 77 years, who passed away Thursday morning, October 19th, 2006 at her home in Whitby.
Born in Windsor, Nova Scotia she worked for many years as an accomplished medical secretary.
Kaye enjoyed family and friends and most recently loved spending time at the family Kushog Lake cottage.
Beloved wife of Donald for almost 60 years.
Loving Mother to her children Heather (and husband Danual Panas), Dawn (and husband Terry Parten), Jim (and wife Cheryl Kelly) and Karen (and Husband Ross Poole).
Survived by her sister Joan Legere of St. John NB.
Sadly missed by her Grandchildren Tanya, Christopher, Joshua, Michael, Taylor and Kayley as well as step-Grand-children Sean, Kevin and Jeff and step Great-grand-child Mackenzie, and like her own, Delores and Brian Bayes, and her companion Guiness.
Funeral Service will be at the W.C. TOWN FUNERAL CHAPEL, 110 Dundas Street East, Whitby (905) 668-3410 on Sunday, October 22nd, 2006 at 1:00pm.

Nanny has gone to be with Granddaughter Kellie.

After a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by his family at Lakeridge Health Corp.- Oshawa on October 19th, 2006.
Imre (Jim) Mosolanczki was born in the year 1942.
Beloved husband of Inge.
Loving father of Michelle and her husband Scott Hallett.
Cherished grandfather of Shannon King, Mitchell Hallett and Stanley Hallett.
Fondly remembered by his Aunt Mary and Uncle Frank Czepek.
Dear brother of Tibor Mosolanczki and his wife Mary, Laszlo Mosolanczki.
Sister-in-law Margarete and her husband Wolfgang Sladeczek.

NEWMAN, Michele
Tragically, as a result of an automobile accident on Thursday, October 19, 2006 at the age of 43.
Michele, beloved wife of Miklos Szabo.
Loving mother of Julia Szabo and Chloe Szabo.
Loved daughter of Leslie and Magdalene Newman.
Dear sister of Sandra Newman and her husband Miklos Kiss-Toth and Neal Newman and his wife Tanja Newman. Loving aunt of Sasha and Zena Kiss-Toth and Isabel Newman.
Dear daughter-in- law of Maria Szabo and sister-in-law of Gabriella Szabo and John Noma.
Michele will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by her loved family and many dear friends.

SNODDEN, Barry James
(retired teacher, Durham District School Board)
Passed away suddenly at the age of 59 on the afternoon of Thursday, October 19, 2006.
Barry will be missed dearly by his wife Elaine, his daughter Melissa, step- daughter Danielle and son-in-law Andrew.
Fondly remembered by family, students, parents and colleagues.
Friends will be received at MOUNT LAWN RECEPTION CENTRE, 21 Garrard Road, Whitby (north of Hwy 2) from 6:30 - 9 p.m. Tuesday.
Funeral Mass on Wednesday morning at 11 a.m. in Holy Family Church (91 Ribblesdale Drive, Whitby).
