BURT, Johnny Francis
Passed away suddenly on Wednesday, October 18, 2006, at the age of 23.
Life partner of Jeannelle Elysia Reece.
Loving son of John and Melba.
Beloved brother of Laura, Cheryl, Crystal and Julie.
Grandson of John and Therese Burt, and Anita and the late Alphonsus Halleran.
Uncle to Jacob, Joshua and Alexander.
He will be sadly missed by the Burt, Halleran and Reece families.
He will also be dearly missed by best friends, Dave Bacon, Harley and Gizmo.
Funeral Mass at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church (796 Eyer Drive, Pickering) on Monday, October 23, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. Keep Dancing, Keep Smiling, Keep Riding

CAIRNS, Jean Isobel (nee MacDonald)
Peacefully on Wednesday, October 18th, 2006 at Lakeridge Health - Oshawa in her 82nd year.
Beloved wife of Mervin for 56 years.
Loving mother of Brenda and her husband John Pittens, Cheryl Cairns and Sandra and her husband Richard Philpot.
Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Karen and her husband John Brown, Dawn, Lisa, Brian Pittens, and great-granddaughter Hayleigh Brown. Also remembered by Kerry, Steve, Dylan and Ben.
Predeceased by her parents James and Florence MacDonald, her step mother Ruby MacDonald and sister Dorothy French and brother James.
Fondly remembered by her brother-in-law Laurie French and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at OSHAWA FUNERAL SERVICE, 'Thornton Chapel' 847 King St. West (905-721-1234) for visitation on Friday, October 20th from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 P.M.
Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Saturday, October 21st at 11:00 A.M.

HAWE, John 'Jack'
(Retired 30 year employee of Oshawa Public Utilities Commission)
After a lengthy struggle with Parkinson's Disease, with his family by his side, at Lakeridge Health Corp. Oshawa, on Wednesday, October 18, 2006.
John, beloved husband of Jean for 58 years.
Loving brother of Ross and his wife Donna Hawe of Fenelon Falls.
Devoted uncle of
Debbie Hawe and her husband Daniel Espiritu, Doug Hawe, Susan and her husband Jim Garrard and their children Maggie and Emma, Jack and his wife Heili Strawbridge and their children Kristina and Justine.
Relatives and friends will be received at the McINTOSH-ANDERSON FUNERAL HOME, 152 King St. E., Oshawa (905-433-5558) on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
A complete service will be held in the chapel on Saturday, October 21, 2006 at 3:00 p.m.
Donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Parkinson Society of Canada would be appreciated by his family.

HORNER, Beverly (nee Barrons)
Passed away peacefully with her family by her side the afternoon of October 18th, 2006 at Lakeridge Health-Oshawa.
Beverly was in her 71st year.
Proud mother of Kim and her husband Brian, Tom and his wife Cathie, Casey and her husband Rick, Cindy and her husband Alan and Tracy and her husband Mark.
Sadly missed by her 8 grandchildren Rachel Horner, Kelly Bell, Kathleen Bell, William Bell, Spencer Benisasia, Dylan Benisasia, Emma Early and Graeme Early.
Survived by her mother Blanche Barrons.
Predeceased by her father Harry Barrons.
Missed by her sister Carol Barrons and her family, her brother Gerry and his wife Pamela.
Beverly retired in 1996 from General Motors after a 36-year career.
She will be missed by her many friends.

JOHNSON, George Andrew (Veteran of WWII)
Passed away peacefully at the Lakeridge Health Oshawa on October 18, 2006 at the age of 80.
Finally with his loving wife, the late June Johnson.
Dear father of Tom and his wife Kris.
Proud grandfather of Jennifer and Michael.
Fondly remembered by his brothers Alf, Stan, Reg, Gord, Albert and the late Jim and their respective families.
Resting at the W.C. TOWN FUNERAL CHAPEL, Chapel (110 Dundas Street East, Whitby 905-668-3410).
Visitation will be 1:30-2:30pm Saturday with a service to follow at 2:30pm.
A private family burial will take place at Stayner Union Cemetery in Stayner, Ontario, at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Princess Margaret Hospital Foundation.

MALLERY, Bertha Gertrude Addelin
1933 - 2006
After a lengthy illness on Wednesday, October 18, 2006 at the Kingston Extended Care, (formerly of Oshawa), in her 74th year.
Beloved wife of the late Allan Dale Dudley.
Loving mother of Kenny Levison of New Brunswick, Beverley (Mark) Loiser of New Brunswick, Brenda Webb (Kevin Percy) of Beaverton, Richard Dudley of Peterborough, Marshall (Wendy) Dudley of Napanee, Ron (Katie) Dudley of Port Perry and predeceased by her daughter Gail.
Proud grandmother of Melanie Levison, Jamie MacDonald, Christopher Levision, Bryan (Alicia) Dudley, Darlene Dudley, Tiffany Dudley, Daniel Dudley, Adam Dudley, Bethany Dudley, Aurora Dudley and Melody Dudley.
Cherished great-grandmother of Travis and Jamie Levison. Survived by her sisters Theresa, Irene, Addie, Marion, Thelma, Shirley and brothers John, Robert and predeceased by Alec and Hazen. Bertha will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and friends.
In Bertha's memory, the family would appreciate memorial donations be made to the Kidney Foundation, Arthritis Society or to a Charity of choice.

NAYLOR, Edward
Passed away suddenly on Wednesday, October 18, 2006 at Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital, Picton, in his 73rd year.
Loving husband of Gwen.
Cherished father of Carolyn (Jon), Marilyn (Vic), and Sharilyn (Dale).
Devoted Papa of Amanda.
Ed will also be sadly missed by many other family members and friends.
The family will receive friends from 7 - 9 p.m. on Friday and from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Saturday at Altona Road Community Church of the Nazarene (1367 Altona Road, Pickering, ON).
A funeral service will be held at church on Saturday, October 21, 2006 at 1 p.m.
Should family and friends so desire, donations to the Gateway Community Church of the Nazarene Memorial Fund would be greatly appreciated.

PALUMBO, Filippo
Peacefully at Lakeridge Health - Oshawa on Wednesday, October 18th, 2006 in his 89th year.
Filippo is survived by his son Tony (Rose), Rose Ambra (Domenico), Pasqua McKim (Bill).
Loving Nonno to Filippo (Kristen), Maria (Tony), Vince, Marco, Anthony (Jessica),Mario, Robert, Heather, and his 6 great-grandchildren.
Filippo is also survived by his sister Angela Rocchio of Italy, and Antonia Orecchio.
Filippo is pre- deceased by his wife Maria.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. MARY OF THE PEOPLE CATHOLIC CHURCH (570 Marion Ave., Oshawa) on Monday, October 23rd at 10:00 A.M.
Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

PEARCE, Briton Michael
Passed away on Wednesday, October 18th, 2006 after a short illness at Rougevalley Health Centre, Ajax Site in his 73rd year.
Briton will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 32 years, Wendy.
Dear father of Briton (Julie), Michaela (Lea), Amanda (Michael) and Justin (Erin) Beloved "Dad Gran" to Blake, Joshua, Paige, Alex, Nicki, Tianey, Bethanie and Keelan.
Briton will be missed always by his many friends.
The family wishes to extend a big thank you to all his doctors and the wonderful nurses in I.C.U. who took great care of him.
A Celebration of Briton's life will follow in the chapel at 3p.m.
