RODZIEWICZ, Adela
April 12, 1926 to October 15, 2006.
She fell asleep like an angel and God took her to his home.
Adela will be sadly missed by her family, her husband Czeslaw Rodziewicz, her children Sophia Clay, Eddy and his wife Helen Cieslik, Halina and her husband Jim McMullen, Stella and her husband Ray Luczka.
Her grandchildren; George, Tracy, Danny, Tammy, Jimmy, Charlen, Eddie, Jennifer and Lyndsay and by her great-grandchildren; Nikki, Brandon, Matthew, Jasmine, Natasha, Ashley, Dylan, Kylie, Braden and Heaven-Lee.
Sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews and friends.
She is survived by a brother and two sisters in Poland.
Adela is predeceased by her parents and two brothers.
Resting at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East, Oshawa, with Mass of Christian Burial in St. Hedwig's Roman Catholic Church on Thursday, October 19th, 2006 at 10 a.m.
Entombment Resurrection Cemetery.
Prayers will be held at the funeral home Wednesday at 8 p.m.
Memorial donations to the Hospital for Sick Children would be appreciated. Visitation Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.

RYPSTRA, Akke (nee Tjalsma)
Passed away peacefully at her residence on Sunday, October 15th, 2006 at the age of 85 years.
Akke predeceased by loving husband Eelke.
Dear mother of Wilma (Herman) Slot of Marmora, Obie (Ria) Rypstra of St. Anns, William (Wilma) Rypstra of Georgetown, Trudy (Wade) Coburn of Bowmanville, Annette (Peter) Hamilton of Oshawa, Fred Rypstra of Cameron, and David Rypstra of Bowmanville. Cherished grandmother of 20 grandchildren, and adored great-grandmother of 7 great-grand children.
Friends may visit at OSHAWA FUNERAL SERVICE,'Thornton Chapel', 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) for visitation on Tuesday, October 17th from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 18th in the Chapel at 11:00 a.m.
Interment Mount Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or a Charity of your choice would be appreciated.

STARR, Timothy Edward
Retired from General Motors
Tim at the age of 48, passed away peacefully after a long and courageous battle with liver disease and cancer, at home surrounded by his family and friends on Sunday, October 15, 2006.
Predeceased by his parents Donald & Elva Starr.
He will be truly missed by his long time partner Brian McGee. Dear father of Mark (Allie), Chris (Deanna) and Alicia (Eric).
Dear brother of Cathy, Walter & his wife Sally, Robert & his wife Laurie, Lori & her partner Dee, Donald, Lorraine and her son Jason (Bobbi-Jo), and Carl & his wife Donna.
Tim will be sadly missed by his niece Gina and Godson Robbie and by their mom Annette.
Special friend of Diane Munroe & family.
Tim was loved by his many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Resting at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East, Oshawa, with funeral service in the Chapel on Wednesday, October 18, 2006 at 11 a.m.
Interment of ashes on Saturday, October 21, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. at Mount Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Memorial donations to Trillium Gift of Life Network or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. Visitation Tuesday from 2 - 4 pm & 7 - 9 p.m.

WILLIAMSON, William
Veteran of WWII.
Entered into rest peacefully at the Etobicoke General Hospital on Sunday, October 15th, 2006.
Bill Williamson, formerly of Rural Route Sunderland, Ontario, in his 90th year.
Bill was predeceased by his first wife Helen and his second wife Hanna.
Predeceased by seven brothers and sisters Frank, Louise, Joseph, Margaret, Mary, Bernard and Veronica. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews and their extended families.
A Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Beaverton, will take place at 11:00 a.m.

December 28, 1922 - October 14, 2006
Charles passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Centre, Oshawa, on Saturday, October 14th, 2006.
Beloved husband of Maisie and cherished father of Charlotte Anselstetter (Klaus) and Frank (Susan).
Loving grandfather to Karl Anselstetter, Belinda Keays (Robert), Todd Graves and Brett Graves (Jennifer Hutchinson) Great grandfather to Katharina and Elizabeth Keays, Dustin and Sawyer Graves. His stepsister, Dorothy Webb of Hamilton, survives him.
A celebration of Life to be held at the Salvation Army Community Church located at 710 McQuay Ave., Whitby, at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 21, 2006.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Charity of your choice have been requested.

Suddenly in Oshawa, on Saturday, October 14, 2006, Glen in his 45th year.
Beloved son of John and Christine Rose of Uxbridge, Dear brother of Glenda and husband, Randy Drisdelle of Mount Albert, Lyn and husband Wayne Berry of Oshawa and Joseph and fiancee Sarah of Holland Landing.
Dear uncle of Heather and Timothy Berry.
Relatives and friends will be received at the McINTOSH-ANDERSON FUNERAL HOME, 152 King St. E., Oshawa (905-433-5558) on Saturday, October 21, 2006 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service in the chapel at 11:00 a.m.

SKELTON, Leonard Robert, Jr.
(Bob was a decorated WWII veteran of the Royal Canadian Navy. He was a Life Member of Royal Canadian Legion Branch 43, where he served as President in 1957 and 1958, was Sportsman of the Year in 1976 and Chair of the Bursary and Public Speaking programs for numerous years. Bob was a retiree of General Motors of Canada (Oshawa) where he worked for more than 40 years.)
Passed away in his 90th year on Saturday, October 14, 2006 at The Wynfield.
Born October 26, 1916.
Predeceased by his wife of 64 years Helen Irene Skelton (nee Gray) on October 12, 2002, Bob is lovingly remembered by their children Len (Joan), Leslie (John), Vicki (Bruce) and their grandchildren Christine, Nicholas and Emily, by his sisters Bette and Barb and his brother Tom.
Predeceased by his brothers Don and Reg and sister June. "You were loved by so many who will hold you in their hearts and keep your indomitable spirit alive" Thank you to everyone at The Wynfield, your loving care meant so much to Bob and his family.

SMITH, John Frederick
Peacefully at home on Saturday, October 14, 2006, after a short illness, at the age of 83.
Survived by his wife Dorothy of 61 years.
Loving father to Sharon Saunders of London, Ontario, Linda Guenther (Colin) of Aurora, Ontario, and Wayne Smith (Lynda) of Bethany, Ontario.
Dear granddad to Spencer, Nick, Shaun and Bradley.
John was born and raised in Oshawa, was a Veteran of W.W. II, served with the R.C.A.F. in Western Canada from 1941-1945.
Retired from General Motors after 31 years.

SMYTH, Thomas J.
It is with great sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of our husband, father, brother, and friend, Thomas Smyth; at his home in Oshawa , on Saturday, October 14, 2006.
Husband of Ruth, father of Janet, Kim, Garran, Ian, and brother of James Patrick.
He will be missed by his grandchildren Peter, Jennifer, Rebecca, Andrew, Patrick and Joseph.
He is also in the hearts and minds of his many friends that worked with him at CBC Radio for over 25 years.
A visitation will be held at the MEMORIAL CHAPEL BROOKLIN, at 79 Baldwin St. in Brooklin (905-655-3662) on Wednesday, October 18 between 12:00 - 2:00 p.m., followed by a service at 2:00 p.m.

Peacefully at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville after a brief illness on Friday, October 13, 2006, in his 83rd year.
Loving husband of the late Elsie Alldread (nee Sandercock).
Dear father of Marie Rowe, Jackie Hofstede, Fred Alldread, Judy Wannan, Beverly Jagoda, Debbie Sellers, and step-father of Joyce Stoneburg and Ruth Forget.
Sadly missed by his children's spouses and his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Loved brother of Rita McRoberts, Christine Jones, Velma Parker, Betty McHolm, and 'Aunt Vera.'
Predeceased by several other brothers and sisters, and survived by many sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at NEWCASTLE FUNERAL HOME, 386 Mill St. S. (just north of 401 at the lights), on Sunday, October 15, from 7-9 p.m. and on Monday, October 16, from 1-2 p.m.
A funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Monday at 2:00 p.m.
Interment, Orono Cemetery.
