SCOTT, Robert John
Entered into rest on Thursday, December 28, 2006 at age 25. Robert, loving son of John and Gwen Scott of Uxbridge. Dear brother of Kristen and grandson of Ross and Marion Harrison, Jack Scott and his late wife Marjorie Scott and Step grandson of Ileen Elliot. Fondly remembered by his aunts and uncles Roy and Scott, Bill and Linda, Garry and Yvonne, Dave and Gail and his cousins Brittney, Brooke, Ryan, Doug, Michelle, Kevin and Trish. A Memorial Service to celebrate Robert's life will be held on Friday, January 5, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. from the Leaskdale Presbyterian Church. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of Canada.

HUDSON, Jacqueline Ann
At home on Wednesday, December 27, 2006 at the age of 45. Daughter of Marylou Hudson and Fred Hudson. Mother of Shawn, Shannon and Michael. Sister of Fred and Sandra. Grandmother of 5. A Funeral Service was held at The ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East on Saturday, December 30, 2006. Cremation. Donations to the Addiction Research Foundation would be appreciated.

JOHNSTON, Tony
At his residence on Friday, December 29, 2006, Tony Johnston of Dunsford, formerly of Oshawa, at the age of 57. Son of the late Lancelot and Pansy Johnston. Loving husband of Doris Johnston. Father of Kim (Scott) Cadman, Whitby and Kristy (Wes) Proulx, Renfrew. Papa to Jakob, Lukas and Jillian. Brother of Bob (Marg) Johnston, Campbellford; Jerry (Sharon) Johnston, Oshawa; Doug (Sharon) Johnston, Campbellford and Marg Wray (Jim Redshaw) of Dunsford and the late Eileen Genereaux and Nancy McQuillian. If desired, memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.

KABABIK, Leslie James
Born in Hollohaza, Hungary.
Passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health-Oshawa on Wednesday, December 27th, 2006. Predeceased by his parents James and Mary Kababik and his brother-in-law Alexander Staniec. Survived by his sister Helen Staniec, God daughter Helen-Mary Bonfordi, and many cousins in British Columbia and Hungary. Retired employee of General Motors Tool and Dye with 40 years service member of CAW. Long time member of Holy Cross Parish, an avid golfer, and life member of Country Lane Golf Club. Family and friends may visit at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West on Monday, January 1st, 2007 from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. Prayers at 2:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at HOLY CROSS CATHOLIC CHURCH (373 Simcoe Street South) on Tuesday, January 2nd at 10:00 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Memorial donations to Alzheimer Society or Holy Cross Catholic Church would be appreciated by the family.

Peacefully at Lakeridge Health-Bowmanville on Wednesday, December 27th, 2006 at the age of 82 years, after a brief battle with cancer. He is lovingly remembered by his wife Vera, daughters Helen (Gord Langley) and Mimi (Michael Pilon), and sons Paul (Tracey) and Peter (Caren). Fondly remembered by his 10 grandchildren, Adam, Ashton and Maggie; Natalie and Greg; Shannon and Blake; Samuel, Benjamin and Rossco. Loving Djeda to his two great-grandsons Bradley and James. Loving wife of Robert, mother of Angele, Julie, CaLynn, Chantal, grand-maman of Haylee and Ryan, sister of 10 brothers and 2 sisters and daughter to Fernande and the late Daniel Gervais, passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health-Oshawa on December 26th, 2006. A caring and giving person who will be greatly missed by all. DAVIES, Jack Stanley
Passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home in Port Perry, on Tuesday, December 26, 2006 at the age of 75. Jack Davies, dearly beloved husband of Bonnie McKee-Davies of Port Perry. Loving father of David and his wife Jo-Anne, Barbara (Brodie) and her husband Jim, John and his wife Liz and stepfather of Don, Susan, Karen and Rav. Dear grandfather of Brent, Mary-Anne, Jennifer, Robert, Laura, Colleen, Kathryn, Philip, Nicole, Kate, Jessica, Adam, Lindsay and Brenna, and great-grandfather of Austin, Cole, and Benjamin. Jack is survived by his brother Gerry and his sister Marjorie and his aunt Luella, and predeceased by his brothers Donald and Leonard. He will be sadly missed by his many friends in Port Perry at the Bridge Club and the Crestwood Golf Club. Memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.

Peacefully, after a short illness, on Tuesday, December 26, 2006 at the Cottage Hospital in Uxbridge, at age 83. Grada (nee Piepers), beloved wife of the late Gerrit 'Gerry' Kroekenstoel of Manilla. Loved mother of David and Jamie and his wife Linda. Loving grandmother of John and Rick. Survived by her sisters Anna and Mina and predeceased by Dien, Riet, Tonia and Marie. The family of Grada Kroekenstoel will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott-Panabaker Chapel", 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Thursday, December 28th from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 1710 Scugog Street (Hwy 7A) in Port Perry on Friday, December 29th at 11 a.m. with Father Peter Lackmanec officiating. Interment Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, Whitby. If desired, memorial donations may be made by cheque to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or a Charity of your choice.

MORRIS, Myrna (nee Smith)
Died peacefully at Versa Care Nursing Home in Uxbridge on December 26, 2006 in her 87th year. Loving wife for 66 years of Bill Morris. Beloved mother of Jannette (Ross Gould), Lorraine (Harry Thompson) and Faye (Don Simmonds). Dear grandma of Jeff (Leni), Lyssa (Percy), Shauna, Craig, Brett and April. Survived by sisters Laura Lapp, lola Smith and sister-in-law Doris Smith. Predeceased by brothers Clarence (Elsa), Ralph (Marjorie), Elmer (Winnie), Norman (Jean), Quinn Smith and brother-in-law Wilbert Lapp. Donations may be made to the Versa Care Centre Residents Council.

POWERS, William
Passed away peacefully at home on December 26, 2006 at the age of 82. Loving husband to his first wife, the late Ruby Marie and his second wife, the late Anna Marie. Dear father of Garry Powers, Donald Powers and his wife Lois, Thomas Powers and his wife Tina, Peggy (Margaret) Ann Powers, Mel Ray and his wife Hilda, the late Helen Denny and her husband Holland and Doreen Bouckley and her husband Wayne. Proud grandfather of Ruby, Philip, Jody, Darryl, Corey, the late Tammy-Lynne, Trent, Kim, Mark, Christine, Sharlene, Kyle, Karen and Shawna. Fondly remembered by 17 great-grandchildren. William has now been re- united with his faithful companion, Frisky. Resting at the W.C. TOWN FUNERAL CHAPEL, (110 Dundas Street East, Whitby 905-668-3410). Visitation will be Friday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.. Cremation to follow. In memoriam, donations may be made to the Charity of choice.

Beloved wife of John died unexpectedly on December 25th, 2006 at the age of 58, while visiting family in California. She was a loving mother to Janis (Robert Minion) and Debbie; a Granny to John Minion, and a dear daughter to Jim and Betty Sward. Sister to Lisa (Ray), David, Douglas and Jim. Friends may pay their respect at the MORRIS FUNERAL CHAPEL, 4 Division St., Bowmanville on Friday, December 29, 2006 from 11 - 1 p.m. Funeral service complete in the MORRIS CHAPEL on Friday at 1p.m. Cremation at Bowmanville Crematorium with interment of cremated remains in Bowmanville Cemetery.
