Passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health-Whitby on Saturday, December 16th, 2006 at the age of 84. Dearly beloved wife of the late Jorge Reyes. Loving mother of Rosie, Rubi, Fe (Tony), Jorge Jr., Angelina (Amante), Caridad, Joey, and the late Nilda. Dear grandmother of 17 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Fondly remembered by many friends and relatives. Friends may call at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) for visitation on Tuesday, December 19th from 1 - 4 and 6 - 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial to be held at THE CHURCH OF ST. Peacefully with family by his side at Lakeridge Health- Whitby on Saturday, December 16th, 2006 in his 80th year. Dearly beloved husband of Mary of 56 years. Loving father of Elizabeth Henderson (Paul), Wendy Fallis (Gill), Beverley Byrski (nee Snyder) Edward, Milton, Karen Arscott (Chris), Joanne Love (Allen) and Joyce Parkinson (Joe). Grandfather of 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his sister Rita and brother-in-law Frank Carter and parents Isabella and Alfred Thompson. TOWNSEND, John Donald
October 7th, 1925 - December 16th, 2006.
John passed away quietly at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Saturday, December 16th, 2006. John has once again joined his beloved wife Fran, of 59 years. John will be greatly missed by his family; Phil and Kathie, Chris and Shona, Glenn and his many grandchildren. John is also survived by his two older sisters living in England; Monica Metté and Kathleen Pearson, and his many nieces and nephews. John's family is most grateful to the Staff of Lakeridge Health Oshawa for their loving care and compassion given to both John and his family. John's family, his close friends and associates will celebrate his life in a memorial service at THE W.C. TOWN FUNERAL CHAPEL, 110 Dundas St E, Whitby at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 19th, 2006.

Great-grandfather to Cody, Jake, Bryce, Victoria, Mackenzie, Conner, Bailey, Holly, Zakkary, Shane, Shelby & Kayla. Brother of the late Myrtle, Marguerite, Norma, Fred, Hazel, Herb & Arthur. BYRON, Margaret (Peggy)
Died at her Pickering home on December 14, 2006 after an exhausting fight with cancer. Predeceased by her parents John and Nellie Stephen and brother Jack of Brandon, Manitoba. Peggy is mourned by her husband Bob, daughter Barbara of Pickering Village and daughter Robin Byron, son-in-law Michael Milojevic and grandsons Nicholas and Sacha of Auckland, N.Z. and sister-in-law Beverley Doyle of Winnipeg. She will be lovingly remembered and missed by a host of close friends across Canada. Gratitude is owed to the doctors and many nurses and care giving professionals at Sunnybrook, Oshawa Palliative Care Unit and Durham Care. Following a private family ceremony, there will be a celebration of Peggy's life at a date early in the new year.

It is with great sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of Colleen at home, on Thursday, December 14th, at the age of 55. She was surrounded by her loved ones after an 18 month courageous battle with brain cancer. She will be sadly missed by her mother Margaret and the late Cecil Jensen. Loving mother of Melannie Elmhurst and her husband Michael and Kevin Heinen and his partner Kelly and son Cameron. Cherished grandmother of Olivia Grace. Dear sister of Brian Jensen and his wife Judy, Paul Jensen and his wife Patti, and Laura Jensen. Special aunt to Ryan and his wife Mandy, Stephanie and her partner Matt, Lisa and Daniel. Fondly remembered by Jan William Heinen. Faithful friend to Emily. She will be missed by her real estate colleagues and clients and those who she helped through her volunteer work in the community. We wish to give our heartfelt thanks to Diana, Elizabeth and Sharon for their kind and gentle care through this difficult journey. Special thanks to Nurse Erin for her love, respect and loyalty. Colleen was a wonderful and loving spirit - a friend to all - whose life was too short and who will be sadly missed. The family is comforted in knowing that Colleen has been reunited with her father Cecil and grandmother Agnes.
