Douglas "Doug" Antony Smeltzer, age46, of Upper Vaughan, Hants County, passed away on Tuesday, March 11th, 2008, in the Hants Community Hospital, Windsor.
Born on May 2nd, 1961, he is survived by his special parents, Ervin and Rosamond (Gollan) Smeltzer, Upper Vaughan; his fiancee`, Cheryl Raney, Halifax; sisters, Myrna Smeltzer, Windsor; Rodena (Andre`) Mignault, Kingston, Ontario; 3 nieces, Krista and Katelyn Halbgewachs; Jessica Mignault; 1 nephew, Alexander Mignault.
He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Charlie and Dorothy (Rafuse) Gollan; paternal grandparents, Edward and Ethel (Hiltz) Smeltzer.
Cremation has taken place under the care of Lindsay's Windsor Funeral Home, Windsor.
A graveside memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 15th, 2008, at Maplewood cemetery , Windsor, with Pastor Daryl Dykens officiating.

It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Marjorie on Monday, March 10, 2008 at the Bridgepoint Health Centre in her 93rd year. Dearly beloved wife of Ronald Silk of 50 years. Madge will be sadly missed by her sister Lily Murray, and her sister-in-law Carol McIlvenna. Peacefully at the Ajax-Pickering Hospital with her family by her side on Friday, March 12, 2010 in her 79th year. Beloved wife of John. Loving Mom of John (Judy), Susan Jordan-Ross (Dave) and Peter. Proud Grandma of Lindsay, Brittany, Matthew, Jessica, Julie, Sandra, Sean, Eric and Bryan. Therrien, Margaret, nee Paradis, passed away peacefully at the Huronia District Hospital on Monday, March 3, 2008 at the age of 74. Wife of the late Bill Therrien of Wyevale. Dear mother of Don Therrien and Brenda Gair and her husband Don of Calgary. Loving grandmother of Jodi, MacKenzie and Nicole Gair, and great-grandmother of Kayden and Austin. PATON, Thomas W. passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on March 11,2008 at the age of 78. Predeceased by Margaret (2008). Beloved father of Elizabeth Villemaire and husband Tom, John and Gordon and his wife Elizabeth. Dear grandfather to Scott and Shawn Villemaire and Jordan, Sarah and Christina Paton.
