Predeceased by his son, Santino, son-in-law Marcello Oddi and his step-mother, Clementina Mastroianni. Dear brother of Domenico, Antonietta and Maria all of Italy, Nunzio (Anna), Antonio (Vinzenza), Donato (Rita), Giovanni (Marcella) and Francesco (Donna) all of Ontario. Passed away peacefully in her sleep in Port Perry on Wednesday, September 27, 2006 in her 95th year. Janet, wife of the late Fred Patterson and loving mother and grandmother of Tom and wife Linda, children Julie, Hally and Lisa; John and wife Brenda, children Stephen and wife Helen, Heather and husband Alden, (and their mother Anne Patterson) Lisa, Matthew and Emma; Bruce and wife Bea, children Cathy and husband Joe, Michael, David and Mary and great grandchildren Emma, Heather and Connor and extended family members Megan, Jane and Marion. Janet will be dearly missed by so many, whose hearts she touched in her everyday life. Mom, we wish you many more blessings on your next journey and we will all miss your beautiful smile and loving heart. We wish to thank all the friends and neighbours who assisted mom with living independently in her home during her final years. Our friend, husband, father, son, brother, grandfather Karsten Smith passed away on Tuesday, September 26th at the age of 61. He will be sadly missed by the many lives that he touched along his journey. Loving partner of Sue, father of Deb Kotecki, Trevor and Brendon, loving son of Henni. His grandchildren Bill and Sophie, treasure the memories of their Grampy especially while at the cottage. His sister Dorothy Urquhart, her husband Rick, nieces Heather and Robin; his sister Deb, her husband Mike Trites, have lost a great brother. Eleanor Adams will miss a loving son-in-law. Greg Kotecki and Kelly Precoor have lost a loving father-in-law. Sue would like to thank the staff of 17B at Princess Margaret Hospital for their excellent care and kind support. With respect, we had a few laughs and a few tears.
