HEALER, William Arthure "Bill"
Age 74 years. Peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, September 23rd 2006. Beloved husband of Nancy Healer. Predeceased by Valerie Healer. Dear father of Graham & Julie, Suzanne & her husband Dave, Kevin & Lona. Loving "Grampa" of Jason, Jessica, Jeffrey, Connor, Jennifer, Ryan & Cali. Cherished friend & "second father" to John & Cheryl, Michelle & John, Patti & Greg. Special "Grampa Bill" to Laura & Glen. He will be sadly missed by his best companion, his yellow lab "Abby". At Bill's request there will be no visitation or funeral service. Cremation has already taken place. Those wishing to honour Bill's memory may do so by making a donation to Bowmanville Memorial Hospital at THE NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division St. N. Bowmanville 905-623-5668

Loving Grammie of Amanda, Travis & Jonathan. Dear sister to Orville Matthews & Neville Matthews. Visitation will be held at THE NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division St. N. Bowmanville 7-8 pm on Tuesday, September 26th, 2006. Funeral Service will be held 11 am Wednesday, September 27th, 2006 at COLLEGE PARK SEVENTH DAY ADVENTIST CHURCH, OSHAWA. Interment Bowmanville Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Kingsway Worthy Student Fund.

Passed away at Lakeridge Health, Oshawa on Saturday, September 23rd, 2006 in his 67th year. Dearly loved husband of Janet Norberg. Much loved father of Margaret (Tim) McCormick of Nova Scotia, Carla (Sean) McVeigh of Ottawa and Anthony (Carol) Norberg of Bradford. Grandfather of Nicole, Scott, Jack, Owen, Danielle and Stephen. Loved Brother of William Norberg (Yvonne) of Newfoundland. Son-in-law of Yvonne Hisey, and brother-in law of Ron Hisey, Gwen Dahme, Allan Hisey and Bob Hisey. Fondly remembered by his two nieces Carolyn and Tracy. Resting at MEMORIAL CHAPEL BROOKLIN, 79 Baldwin Street Brooklin Village Whitby (905) 655-3662 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday. Then to St. Leo Catholic Church, Brooklin for Mass of Christian Burial, Thursday, September 28th at 11:00 a.m. If desired memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.

Passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health - Oshawa on Saturday, September 23rd, 2006 in her 88th year. Fondly remembered by her former husband Bernard O'Brien Senior. Loving mother of Maurice, Bernard, Derry, Noel, Geraldine, Damien and Patricia. Mary will be sadly missed by her sister Breda Cashin. Cherished grandmother of 20 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Dear sister of Joyce Gossman and her husband the late Pom, the late Florence Gregory and the late Sonny Pizzey. Loved aunt to Janine Costanzo and her children Rachel and Kevin of Victoria, B.C. Dearly loved aunt to Jean Cook and husband George of England. Loved by Arthur and Paula Gossman of Lindsay. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews of England. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 28, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. at Thornton Cemetery Chapel, 1200 Thornton Rd. N., Oshawa. Interment Thornton Cemetery. KELLY, James
Peacefully passed away after a courageous battle at home on September 22, 2006 in his 68th year. Much loved and adored by his loving wife Dorothy Kelly of 45 years. Much loved and will be greatly missed by his children Patrick, Debra, James Jr. (Shirley), Eileen, Wendy (Mike), and Kim (Steve). He will be greatly missed by all of his grandchildren. He is survived by his brothers Bill, Art, and Peter Kelly. He will be missed by his mother-in-law Eileen Michael and sister-in-law Eileen Hudson. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.

Dear brother of Kevin Bickell and wife Donna, Danny Bickell, Tammy Horner and Deanna (ne้ Bickell). Proud son-in-law of Sheila McLaren. Best brother-in-law of Leeann Wilson and husband Larry, Robin McLaren, Dana Burgess and husband Paul, and Jeanne Samsone and husband Rob. Dear uncle of Leila, Jason, Ashleigh, Alyson, Ryan, Cory, Drew, Shawna, Shelby, Hayley, Carley, Jessie, Hannah and Cory S. Predeceased by parents Audrey L. Hogle and Dean A. Bickell. The family will receive friends at the W.C. TOWN FUNERAL CHAPEL, 110 Dundas Street East, Whitby (905-668-3410), on Monday, September 25, 2006 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Service in the chapel on Tuesday, September 26, 2006 at 1 p.m. Interment to follow at GROVESIDE CEMETERY, Brooklin. GENDRON, Eileen Isabel (ne้ Dowey)
It is with sadness that we say "Goodbye Mom", your journey has ended and you are safe in the arms of Jesus. Our Mom and Nana passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 21st, 2006, after a very long struggle with Alzhiemers disease. She will be forever in the hearts of her three daughters, Cheryl (Brian), Alison (Sal) and Leslie (LeRoy). Precious Nana of Dustin and Katie Manikas, Jor-Dan Manikas, Joshua and Faryn Weber, and Danielle and Courtney Durnford. Lovingly remembered by Joe Gendron, her husband of nearly 40 years. She was the youngest of six children born to Charles and Isabel Dowey and is survived by her sister Florence. Predeceased by her sisters Sadie and Evelyn and brothers Charles and Clifford. She will be remembered by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at OSHAWA FUNERAL SERVICE, "Thornton Chapel", 847 King St. West (905-721-1234) for visitation Sunday, September 24th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Monday, September 25th at 11 o"clock. JOHNSON, Robert Eugene
Passed away peacefully at Fairview Lodge Whitby, on Thursday, September 21, 2006. Robert Johnson in his 90th year. Beloved husband of the late Bertha Johnson (ne้ MacDonald). Dear father of Betty Holt & her husband Ron of Courtice, Ed Johnson & his wife Linda of Courtice, and Carolyn Wason & her husband Peter of Russell. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Gregory, Janice, Michael, Beth, Matthew and Natasha, and by 9 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his 3 sisters and 2 brothers. Robert was a Veteran of WWII and served overseas, was a CUPE member, and former member of Civil Defense. He was a member for over 40 years with St. John's Ambulance in Oshawa. John was also the head custodian at the Ritson Road School for many years. Resting at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East, Oshawa with funeral service in the Chapel on Monday, September 25, 2006 at 1 p.m. Interment Thornton Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society or Fairview Lodge would be appreciated. Visitation Sunday from 6 - 9 p.m.
