Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Tessie was one of 16 children, she is survived by 3 sisters and 1 brother and predeceased by 12 brothers and sisters. She will be fondly remembered by her extended family, nieces, nephews and many friends. At Theresa's request, there will be no funeral service. She will be cremated and her cremated remains will be buried in Thunder Bay with her husband, Harold. Peacefully at Rough Valley Ajax-Pickering Hospital on September 5, 2006 at the age of 73. Son of the late Roger and Violet Bendle. Loving husband of Joan (Telfer) for 45 years. Adored and loved father of Elizabeth and her husband Jeffrey Hodgins of Corunna and the late Gary Peter Bendle (December 1992), and the late Glen Andrew Bendle (August 2006). Caring father-in-law of Lynn Bishop and her husband Tom Loach. Loving grandpa of Nichola, Scott, and Laura Jane. Brother of Stanley, Alfred, and the late Wilfred Bendle. Brother-in-law of Dorothy Bendle, the late Mary Bendle and the late Donna Donnelly. He will be lovingly remembered and missed by many nieces and nephews and his relatives in England. Peter was a mechanic at Ferrey's Esso Station in Toronto, and retired in 1993. Sincere thank you to all of the doctors, nurses and support staff who have helped with his care since the diagnosis of prostate cancer in 1993.
