The Meaning of Marriage
Marriage is a precious gift
To treasure and to hold
That comforts and sustains us
Whatever may unfold.
It is making plans together
As we live our life each day
And delighting in the joys
That may come along our way.
It's knowing that it matters not
If troubles come along
For, when we have a loving partner,
We feel secure and strong.
It's a bond that lasts forever
That will never fade away
And is built upon the vows
We make on our wedding day.
