Gary left us on September 1st, 2006 in his 70th year after a long and determined battle, throughout which he never lost his sense of humour. His wit and laughter will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He is dearly missed by his best friend and wife, Jean Derlis Wootton. Much loved father of Deanna and Sandy, and predeceased by his son, Jay. Fondly remembered by Barry, Steve and Brenda, Stephen and Debbie, and JJ. Gary leaves eight special grandchildren: Jory, Trevour, Timothy, Jessica, Craig, Mackenzie, Cameron and Samantha. A celebration of Gary's life (a party, at Gary's request) will follow in the garden at their home in Pickering.
