PICARD, Nellie May
At Lakeridge Health Bowmanville on Saturday, August 19, 2006 at the age of 79 years. Nellie, beloved wife of the late Gerry Picard. Loving mother of Rene (Susan), Jeanine and the late Donald survived by his wife, Robin. Dear grandmother of Mark, David, Angie, Jackie, Terry- Anne, Kristina, Katrina, Kassie and lovingly remembered by her great-grandchildren. Loved sister of Geraldine and Lucy. Friends may call at the MORRIS FUNERAL CHAPEL, 4 Division Street, Bowmanville, on Monday, August 21, 2006 from 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral service complete in the Morris Chapel on Tuesday, August 22nd at 1 p.m. Cremation. WARNICA, Juanita
Passed away suddenly on Sunday, August 20, 2006, at the Rouge Valley Health System, Ajax. Beloved wife of Kenneth. Loving mother of Peter, Paul, and Christopher. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.

DAVISON, Michael James
Passed away peacefully at his home in Peterborough, on Friday, August 18, 2006, in his 54th year. Michael, father of J.J. and Mikey Jr. Son of Frank and the late Dora Davison. Brother of Cameron, Kenny, and Bobby. Survived by niece, Jenny and several other nieces and nephews. Michael enjoyed working with Nancy Hume at Thomas Flowers and with the Peterborough Midwives, and he made many friends in the community. He will be missed by all who knew him. Friends may call at the HIGHLAND PARK VISITATION/RECEPTION CENTRE, 2510 Bensfort Rd. (at River Rd. S.), on Friday, August 25, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed by a service in the chapel at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Karl House officiating. Interment, Highland Park Cemetery. Donations to the Canadian Mental Health Association would be appreciated and may be made through NEWCASTLE FUNERAL HOME, 1-877-987-3964, with whom arrangements have been entrusted.

O'HARE, Joann
Age 57.
After a long and courageous battle with cancer, Joann died peacefully in the arms of her loving family on August 18, 2006. She will be dearly missed by her husband and soul-mate, Kevin, daughters, Jacqui (Kevin) and Shannon, granddaughters, Kaitlyn and Jessica. She will join grandson, Ryan in heaven. Joann will be fondly remembered by her extended family and many dear friends. The family would like to thank the Palliative Team at Lakeridge Health Whitby for their support through this journey. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hearth Place Cancer Support or Palliative Care at Lakeridge Health Whitby would be appreciated. A memorial service will be held at Westminster United Church, 1850 Rossland Rd. E., Whitby, at 2 p.m., Sunday, August 27, 2006.

Passed away peacefully in his sleep on August 17th, 2006 in Whitby. Beloved husband of Shirley (Forwick). Loving father of Cathi (Jack) Schoon, Laurie (John) Hlywka and David. Cherished grandfather of Devon, Phillip, Corey, Brady, Tyler, Tanner and Logan. The family will receive friends at OSHAWA FUNERAL SERVICE "Thornton Chapel" 847 King Street West (905)721-1234, on Sunday, August 20th, 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. A Memorial Service will be held in the chapel on Monday, August 21st at 2:30 P.M. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association. Born in Toronto, Ontario on January 11, 1917 to her dear late parents William John and Sarah (Winters) Keys. Entered into rest in the loving care of her family at the Extendicare Centre, Oshawa, Ontario, on Thursday, August 17th, 2006. Evelyn, dearly loved wife of the late Hugh Munn Harvey. Cherished mother of Joan and her husband, Bill Tyers. Devoted nana of Lynn Marie (Jerry Lavender), Catherine Joanne (Len O'Donell) and great-nana of David, Cara and Casie. Evelyn will be sadly missed by all of her relatives and friends. Visitation and Funeral Services were by Evelyn's request to be private. Memorial donations may be made to the Arthritis Society or the Salvation Army.

At Lakeridge Health Bowmanville on Wednesday, August 16, 2006 in her 90th year. Georgina, beloved wife of the late (Tom) Thomas H. Carter. Loved mother of Patricia (Mrs. Gordon Rundle), B. C., Thom and his wife, Dorothy, Alberta, Gary and his wife, Bonnie, Oshawa. Loving grandmother of 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Margaret Corson and the late Charles, Rose, Dorothy, George, Leonard and Lorraine. CHEESEMAN, Pamel Joan (nee Collett)
At Lakeridge Health Bowmanville on Wednesday, August 16th, 2006. Born February 2nd, 1916 in Downtown, Wiltshire, England, near Salisbury. She was the daughter of Richard & Margaret Collett (nee Gibbons). Joan, as she was known to all, married April 13, 1936 to Howard William James Cheeseman and they lived in Crawley, Sussex until 1948 when they moved to London, Ont. Three sons were born to the couple, Ian (1937), Peter (1942) and Stewart (1944). The family moved to Oshawa, in 1959 and worked at Kingsway College for a number of years. Left to mourn are the sons, their wives: Dorothy, Jane and Donna, 6 grandchildren: Lorena, Debbie, Jeffrey, Janelle, Amanda and Kim, and their spouses, one great-granddaughter Kelsey, as well as other relatives and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at COLLEGE PARK SEVENTH DAY ADVENTIST CHURCH, OSHAWA, on Saturday, August 19th, 2006 at 4 pm with refreshments served in the church hall immediately after. Donations may be made to Kingsway College Worthy Students Fund or the Charity of your Choice. Arrangements entrusted to THE NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division St. N. CONBOY, Isabelle Gordon
At the Hillsdale Terraces, Oshawa, on Wednesday, August 16, 2006. Isabelle Gordon Conboy passed away peacefully in her sleep with her family by her side. Isabelle, in her 98th year, is the beloved wife of the late Fred Conboy. Daughter of the late Leslie and Sarah Beecroft. Loving mother of Joan and her husband, Len Pipher, John (Norris) and his wife, Edna Conboy, Kay and her husband, Harold Hopkins, Carol and her husband, Denis Lalonde and the late Ray Beaudrie. Daughter-in-law, Carol Pleizier (Conboy). Predeceased by daughter, Joyce, son, Raymond and son-in-law, Raymond and four sisters, Anne Cornish, Jean Fox, Lila Parker, Mamie Nicholls and Bert Parker. Dear grandmother of Lynne and Don Aide, Joy Kolaczynski, Donna and Dave Burnett, Jim and Bridget Conboy, John and Gaytan Conboy, Heather and Pat Mac Evoy, Larry and Linda Hopkins, Terry and Stephanie Hopkins, Karen and Steve Fracz, Brian and Linda Hopkins, Julie and Bob Chapman, Rhonda and Doug Park, Cheryl and Bob Collister, Laurie and Don MacLeod, Rick and Terri Conboy, Cindy and Bill Newman, Denette and Jeff Bakwill, Rob and Dan Lalonde.
