Passed away on Monday, August 14th, 2006 at the age of 76. Survived by his loving wife, Claudette, and his two children, Claudine (Greg) and Chris (Nicole). Loving Grandfather to Kelsey, Austin and Dylan. Survived by 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Friends may call at OSHAWA FUNERAL SERVICE "Thornton Chapel", 847 King St. West (905-721- 1234), for visitation on Thursday, August 17th from 7 - 9 P.M. Passed away peacefully with his family by his side at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Monday, August 14th, 2006, in his 54th year. Sandy will be fondly remembered by his mother, Marie Lawrence, and is predeceased by his father, Donald Albert Lawrence. Loving brother of Gloria Wilson, and Bill Morgan (Point Edward), Darlene and Rob Mason (Oshawa), Don and Beth (Waterloo), Patty and Sandy Ferguson (Ajax), Theresa and Rick Black (Ajax), and Francine and Charlie Seaman (Langley, B.C.). Cherished uncle of Kenneth Wilson, Amber Wilson, Robert and Jana Mason, Sean Mason, Lindsay and Aaron Hackel-Ferguson, Jeffrey Ferguson, Jeremy Black, Jennifer Black, Jo Anna Black, Hannah Seaman, Mariah Seaman, Alicia Lawrence, Kelly Lawrence, and great-uncle of Dylan Wilson and Erik Mason. Funeral Mass at St. Bernadette's Catholic Church (S.E. corner of Bayly St. and Harwood Ave.) on Friday, August 18th, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. Should family and friends so desire, donations to the Association for Community Living of Ajax, Pickering, and Whitby, would be greatly appreciated.

Dear stepfather of Jamie, Patrick, Sharon and her husband, Alan, Tyler and his wife, Amanda. Loved grandfather of Andrew, TJ, Trevor, Samantha, Lexy, Isaiah, Mackinnon, Lucas and Logan. Brother of Eldon, Jean, Lynda, Janice, Al, Larry, Darlene and the late Don. Predeceased by his parents, John and Chatharina Tillaart, Dear Brother to Betty Bucking (Bernie) of Whitby, Fred Tillaart (Jane) of Oshawa, John Tillaart (Debra) of Prescott, Anne Murphy (Don) of Prescott, Peter Tillaart (Lori) of Brooklin, Henrietta Tillaart-Duvall of Ingleside, Paul Tillaart (Debbie) of Long Sault, Charlie Tillaart (Ginette) of Cornwall, Nancy MacGillivary (Wayne) of Williamstown, Lucy Manson (Robert) of Oshawa, and Bernie Tillaart (Karen) of Kingston. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Survived by his wife, Kathleen of 60 years, sister, Phyllis, son, Brian and Sue Twaites, daughter Carol and Roger Hudson, grandchildren, Melinda, Joel, Stewart, Sarah, Carrie Anne, Heather, Trina, Adrienne, Tovin and Dana and great-grandchildren, Mykayla, Bryant, Abigail and Caydanne. Predeceased by his parents, Albert and Mary and brother, Ken. Son, Robert, daughter, Catherine, grandson, Brian Robert Twaites Jr. and great-grandson, Alexander. Many thanks for the special care he received at the Wynfield, especially those at McLaughlin Bay. Dr. Reed and Chaplain Gordon Whitney. Fun-loving Dad of Doug Adams and his wife, Karen of Pickering, Robert Adams of Toronto, and Suzanne Adams and his favourite son-in-law, Jim Tsitanidis of Erin. Proud Grandpa of Danielle, Taylor, Amanda, Krystina, Alyssa, and Colin, and his six furry grand-dogs. Friends are invited join the family for an informal celebration of Dave's life at the NEWCASTLE FUNERAL HOME, 386 Mill St. S.
