Peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Sunday, August 9th, 2009. Beloved wife of the late Frank Drinkle. Dear mother of Audra & Robert Terras, Peter Russell & Michelle, Mark & Debra Drinkle, Sharon & Fred, Brenda & Gerry, Joyce & Lorne, the late Charlotte & Case and Roy & Shelley. Grandma will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Loving daughter of Audrey Parker and sister of Len Parker. Dear aunt of Michelle Chisholm and John D'Arcy. Bowmanville on Thursday, August 13th, 2009 from 6 - 7 pm, followed by a Memorial Service in the Chapel at 7 pm. Private Family Interment will take place at a later date in Waverly, Ontario. On Sunday, August 9, 2009, Mike lost his short battle with lung cancer, while surrounded by his family. He will be greatly missed by his wife Sheila; children Connie (Jason), Lisa (Kevin), and Sarah; mother Lucille and the late father Paul. Loving brother to Robert (and the late Debbie), Janette (Freeman), Denise (Steve), Louise (Gary), Dan and Angela. Adored grandfather to Hailey, Zackary and Mitchell. He will be fondly remembered by his many aunts, nieces, nephews, friends and colleagues. Those who knew Mike will remember him for his love of golf and NASCAR. The family would like to extend their thanks and appreciation to Dr. Brankston, Dr. Mui, Dr. Weirzbicki, his home care nurse Joan Federow and the caring doctors and nurses of the Lakeridge Health Oshawa Emergency Department. Passed away sadly and unexpectedly on Sunday, August 9th, 2009 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa at the age of 48. Loving and devoted husband and best friend of Angie. Beloved son of Ronald and Dorothy Mohr of Cameron, Ontario. Frank leaves behind brothers Ron (Debbie), Darrell (Lois), Eric (Mary), Carl (Janet) and sisters Deborah (Eric), Lana (Wade), Yvonne (Ed), Susan, Olive (Sy) and many nieces and nephews. Frank will be also missed by father and mother-in-law Tony and Gale Trafagander, as well as by sister-in-law Leanne (Alistair). BALDWIN, Florence Emily (nee Biggs)
At Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Saturday, August 8, 2009, in her 94th year. The daughter of the late James and Florence Lydia Biggs, she was born in Windsor, England. She worked for the Church of England in Northern England out of York Minster and as a nurse in Southern England, including London. She has been in Canada for 64 years, volunteering with the Red Cross in Woodstock ON., with the Girl Guides and in church work with the Anglican Church of Canada. She is predeceased by husband Ted, son Harry and brother William Biggs, a wartime casualty of the British Navy's HMS Hood. She is survived by son Winston and daughter Mary. Relatives and friends may pay their respects at McINTOSH-ANDERSON FUNERAL HOME LTD., 152 King St. East Oshawa (905-433-5558) on Monday, August 10, 2009 from 7 - 9 pm.
