Mr. Eugene Elie Baillargeon
November 7, 1927 - February 28, 2008
80 years passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, February 28, 2008. Beloved husband of Agnes (nee Beausoleil). Dear father of Gary and Catherine Baillargeon, Carl and Karen Baillargeon, Lori McDonnell and Mike Gillis. Loving grandfather of Adele, Jordan, Pierre, Marc, Nathan, Paul, Adam and Eric. Son of the late Samuel and Emma Baillargeon. Dear brother of the late Leona Jannise (1999), Rita Graveline, Hermidas and Ernestine Baillargeon, Omer and Mildred Baillargeon, Moise and Angela Baillargeon, Pauline and Arcade Leblanc, Edward and Marjorie Baillargeon, Florence Baillargeon. Eugene retired in 1991 from Chrysler Canada and was a member of CAW Local 444. Eugene lived his entire life on the family farmstead. Visitation will be held at the Marcotte Funeral Home and Chapel, 12105 Tecumseh Road (519-735-2830) on Saturday from 6-9 p.m. and Sunday from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. with Parish Prayers at 7:30 p.m. Funeral prayers will be held at the Funeral Home on Monday, March 3, 2008 at 9:30 then to St. Anne Church for Mass at 10:00 a.m.
Memorial donations made to the Heart and Stroke Association or the Crohns Foundation would be appreciated. A tree will be planted in memory of Eugene in the Marcotte Memorial Forest. A dedication service will be held Sunday, September 28, 2008. All are welcome.

At Maitland Manor on Thursday February 28, 2008. Myrtle Mildred (May) Clifford of Goderich and formerly of London in her 96th year. Beloved wife of the late Kenneth Clifford (1968). Loving mother of Joan Perkins (David) of London and Bonnie Doerr (the late Terry ,1983) of Goderich. Cherished grandmother of Jane LeBlanc (Eddie) of New Brunswick, Ruth Perkins (John Moad) of London, Carol Urquhart (Brian) of London and great grandmother of Samantha and Michael. Also survived by brothers Melvin May and Bruce May (Mary) and sister-in-law Bernice May. Special aunt to Linda Spencer (John). Also predeceased by brothers Jim, Russ, Earle May and sister Winnifred Davies. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held in London and announced at a later date. Mr. Harry Walter "Jack" Carter
August 24, 1939 - February 29, 2008
CARTER, Harry "Jack" - 68, Dartmouth, passed away suddenly at home Friday, February 29, 2008. Born in London, Ont., he was a son of the late Violet Hawkes, and was raised by his aunt, Elaine. Jack was a Chief Storesman in the Royal Canadian Navy 1958-1990. A dedicated husband, father, grandfather with many friends. An avid sportsman who was a member of Run Nova Scotia, he was inducted into the C.F. Sports Hall of Fame for boxing for the following accomplishments: Atlantic Command Lightweight Champion, two-time Canadian Featherweight Champion, Canadian Lightweight Champion Finalist, World Featherweight Championship Finalist. With a professional record 44 fights 39 wins, three losses and two draws. He was also a coach for his grandson which he enjoyed immensely. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Deanna Carter, Dartmouth; children, Reginald (Diane) Johnson, Shelley (Art) Boutilier, Joe (Nancy), Jacklyn (Reg) MacKinnon, John (Judy), Amanda (Terry) Creelman, Angela (Scott) Lyons; adopted son, Ken (Dawn); brother, David Benstead; 15 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; special companions, Sam and Tyson. He was predeceased by his brother, Peter. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Atlantic Funeral Home, 771 Main St., Dartmouth, where visitation will be held 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday. Memorial service 11 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel, Rev. James Haughn officiating. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, best wishes to wife Deanna.

On Thursday, February 28, 2008 in her 93rd year, Mom , who lived with style, dignity and grace, quietly passed and was reunited with her husband Johnny (February 27, 1995), with Ted and his wife Marlene by her side. Mom was born and raised on the Toronto Islands, then spent a number of years in St. Catherines with the last twelve years in Oakville. She is survived by her daughter Betty Lou and husband Ron Buck of Wilmington, Delaware and son Ted Eastman and wife Marlene, of Oakville. Gran of Dr. Steven Buck (Betty), Karen Moser (Steve), Erinn, Scott, Chris and Elliott Eastman, Jessica Del Franco (Paul) and Kerri Waite. Great-Gran of Cole, Kaylie, Emma, Elizabeth and Jared. There will be a Memorial Service for Mom at Oakview Funeral Home, 56 Lakeshore Road W. (one block east of Kerr St.), Oakville on Monday, March 10, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. If desired, donations may be made to the the charity of your choice.

Peacefully in her sleep on Saturday March 1st, 2008. Beloved daughter of the late Earl Doyle and his wife the former Irene Cassidy. Loved and devoted mother of Siobhan Restoule and immensely loved Nanna of Mason and Braeden. Dear sister of Shirley Draper and Joe Doyle (Elma) all of Kingston. Sister-in-law of Olive Doyle of Manitoba. Predeceased by her brother Thomas Doyle. Fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, cousins, great nieces and great nephews. Barb will be missed by her many friends at Hotel Dieu Hospital and the Sisters of the Religious Hospitallers of Saint Joseph.

Peacefully on March 2, 2008, at the Hamilton General Hospital, in her 82nd year.
Survived by her son Brad, sisters Sharon and Mary, and many nieces and nephews. She will be fondly remembered by extended family and friends.
