MacLEAN/NICHOLLS Eefje M.
Peacefully on Monday, January 8, 2007 at Uxbridge Cottage Hospital in her 67th year, after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved wife of Kenneth Nicholls, Uxbridge. Loving mother of Thomas and wife Sandy of Kincardine, Kenneth and wife Michelle of Lucknow, Steven and wife Shannon of Campbell River, B.C., Kevin and wife Tammy of Woodstock. Dear grandmother of Derek, Alannah, Kyle, Tucker, Madison, Benjamin, Caleb, Eric and Evan. Loving daughter of Gerritje Bakker of Wingham. Predeceased by her father Rimmer Bakker. Sister of Teade and wife Barbara Bakker, Marinus and wife Margaret Bakker of Auburn, Aantje and husband Tom Robinson of Wingham. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews and family here and in the Netherlands, close friends, members of Mill Run Golf Course, and many colleagues from Ontario Hydro in Kincardine, Darlington, Pickering and KST Engineering. If family and friends so desire, donations to Uxbridge Cottage Hospital would be appreciated, where Eefje was treated with so much care and compassion. Service in Wingham at a later date, details forthcoming.
We will all miss your beautiful smile and loving heart.

McINNES, (Hopcraft) Mathilde Emma
(nee: Richard originally from Richer, Manitoba)
Peacefully at Hillsdale Estates on Monday, January 8, 2007 in her 91st. year. Mathilde is predeceased by her husband Albert Hopcraft, second husband Jim McInnes, sons Paul and Arthur; daughter Helene; sisters Leonie, Clarisse, Alice and brother George. Loved mother of Louise Beaupre-Sugrue (Mike), Louis, George (Marg), Irene Snoddon (Doug), Jeanette Lamb (Larry) and Gilbert, John (Charlene). Proud grandmother of 16 grandchildren and great-grandmother of 19. Sister of Blanche (Wally), Emilie, sister-in-law Therese and daughters-in-law Marie and Linda. Visitation will be held at MORRIS FUNERAL CHAPEL, 4 Division Street, Bowmanville on Thursday, January 11, 2007 from 1 to 2p.m. with service at 2p.m. Cremation at Bowmanville Crematorium. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mathilde's memory may be made through the MORRIS FUNERAL CHAPEL, (905-623-5480) to the Alzheimer Society of Durham Region. Thank-you to Dr. McIntosh and all the staff at Hillsdale Estates for their care and support over her last days.

POLLARD, Melvin G.
Passed away suddenly on January 8th, 2007 at Centenary Hospital, Scarborough at the age of 63. Devoted husband to Julie. Loving father to Amanda, Tracey and son-in-law Scott. Loving poppa to Jordan, Victoria, Alexis and Madison. If desired, in lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Chemo Clinic Centenary Hospital. Memorial services to be held at the EMBASSY COMMUNITY CHURCH, 416 Taunton Rd. West, Oshawa, on Saturday, January 13th, between 2pm-4pm.

WIGGLESWORTH, Basil Joseph
Peacefully, after a brief illness, on Monday, January 8, 2007 at the Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay, at age 84. Basil Wigglesworth of Little Britain, beloved husband and friend of 54 years of Rita (nee McGuigan). Loved father of Mary Cooper (David), John (Gwen), Peter (Jody), Paul (Julie), Terri Beck (Carl), Tom (Wendy), and Gene (Gaetane). He will be sadly missed by his 25 grandchildren. Dear brother of Margaret, Joan, Adrienne, Paul, Edward and predeceased by John, Gene, James and Leo. The family of Basil Wigglesworth will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott-Panabaker Chapel", 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Thursday, January 11th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 1710 Scugog Street (Hwy. 7A) in Port Perry on Friday, January 12th at 11 a.m. with Father Peter Lackmanec officiating. Interment Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, Whitby. If desired, memorial donations may be made by cheque to the Eternal Word TV Network.

DEVOUGE, Lillian
Peacefully at Sunnybrook Hospital on Sunday, January 7th, 2007. Beloved wife of Albert Lever. Loving mother of Lois (Richard), Irene (Danny), Sharon and Ron (Jane). Cherished grandmother of Adam, Marc, Ryan, Brittney, Greg, Amanda, Kelly, Matt and Laura. Sadly missed by her sisters and brothers. Will be fondly remembered by many extended family and friends. Resting at the COURTICE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1587 Highway 2, Courtice (905-432-8484) with Funeral Service in our chapel on Wednesday, January 10th, 2007 at 1 p.m. The family of Lillian will receive friends on Tuesday, January 9th, 2007 from 7-9 p.m. Cremation at Bowmanville Crematorium. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.

"Verily, verily, I say unto you, 'He that heareth My Word, and believeth on Him that sent Me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life." - John 5:24 On Sunday, Jan. 7th, the Lord in His mercy took home our dear Papa, Opa, and great Opa peacefully, in his sleep. Papa was predeceased by his treasured wife, Betsy, in 1993, also by brothers Leen and Dirk. Papa will be keenly missed by his children, grandchildren, and great- grandchildren: Ellie (Eleanor) & Dennis Fox - Thunder Bay Tracey & Grant McArthur - Spencer and Lochlan - Montreal Luke & Anna Fox - Levi - Burlington Gregory & Annie Fox - Mary-Anne, David and Joel - Vars Jerry & Shelly Fox - Casselman Joey (Johanna) & Andy Buwalda- Whitby Timothy Buwalda - Bowmanville David Buwalda - Toronto Joshua - Dan Buwalda - White River Ingelbert Lievaart II - London Friend, Lena Carney - Andrew, Renie, Geraldine Papa will also be missed by the Moraal families, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be at the MOUNT LAWN RECEPTION CENTRE & Chapel, 21 Garrard Road, Whitby, ON., (905) 665-0600 Thursday, Jan. 11th, 2-4 pm, and 7-9 pm. The funeral takes place at 10:30 am Friday morning, January 12th, with interment to follow at 2 pm in Rosemount Memorial Gardens, Peterborough. McCLURE, Stanley Ewing
CET - Retired Draftsman (Civil Eng.)
Born in Lurgan, Northern Ireland, April 21, 1929 - Died January 7th, 2007.
Stan passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side. For 33+ years he was a devoted husband and best friend of Merle (Thomas). Loving father of Kevin (Anne) & Karen and loving stepfather of Kenneth (Annette) & Kelly-Lynn (Todd). Lovingly remembered by brother Jim (Ann) of Whitby and sister Anne (Roy) of Belfast, N.I. and sister-in-law Marjorie (Brett) of Langley, BC. He cherished his grandchildren, Matthew, Andrew, Tyler, Ryan, Chelsea, Cameron, Brooke-Lynn, Casey & Benjamin and he will be remembered fondly by his many nieces and nephews. Stan was a long-time elder and choir member with the Presbyterian Church in Ireland and in Canada. Visitation will take place at THE NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division Street N. Bowmanville on Monday, January 8th, 2007 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held at ST. ANDREWS PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, Bowmanville on Tuesday, January 9th, 2007 at 11 am. Cremation. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Stan's memory be directed to St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church (Memorial Fund) or the Kidney Foundation.

Peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer on Sunday, January 7, 2007 at the Uxbridge Cottage Hospital, in her 83rd year. Sadly missed by her loving husband Ross of 64 years, dear mother of the late Eric (Susan) Sault Ste. Marie, Clare (Cindy) Oshawa, and Ray (Pauline) Uxbridge. Proud grandma and great-grandma of 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Howard (Eulah) Shier. Funeral Service to be held at the Trinity United Church (20 First Ave., Uxbridge) on Wednesday, January 10, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will be available 1 hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation may be made to the Uxbridge Cottage Hospital, Uxbridge Community Care or The Canadian Cancer Society.

Age 79 years.

On Saturday, January 6, 2007 at West Shore Retirement Village, Port Perry, in her 89th year. Eileen beloved wife of the late Frederick. Dear mother of Bram and his wife Wendy and Milton and his wife Margaret. Loving grandchildren Alyce, Kevin, Lindsay (predeceased) and Lee. At Eileen's request there will be no memorial service.
