Passed peacefully at Lakeridge Health Corp., Port Perry on Saturday, January 6th, 2007. Yvonne was in her 70th year. Beloved wife of Donald Edwin Breen for 47 years. Loving mother of Donald Ross Breen and his wife Suzanne (nee: Kilner) and Craig William Breen and his wife Linda (nee: Cahill). Cherished Granny of Erin and Cameron. Much loved daughter-in-law of Edwin (Ted) Breen. Special Granny of Jezebel. Fondly remembered by her sister Flora Donald and predeceased by her brother William Brand, both of Scotland. She will also be sadly missed by her extended family and friends in Canada and Scotland. Yvonne was a member of Faith United Church and active in the church quilting circle of friends. Resting at the COURTICE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1587 Highway # 2, Courtice L1E 2R7 (905-432-8484). Adored Nanny to Andrea, Christine, Grant, Shelby, Andrew, Callum, Kaylyn, Lauryn, Rebecca and Charolette. Much loved by her sister and brother- in-law Jean and Dennis McTernan, and sister-in-law Peggy Prentice. Respected mother-in-law of Jane Edmond, Ron Downer and Bob Doumani. Cathy was born in Edinburgh, Scotland and immigrated to Canada with her husband in 1957. She retired from Canada Post in 1991. On Saturday, January 6, 2007 at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Port Perry, at age 97. Ida (nee Wakelin), formerly of Old Portsmouth, England, fond sister to Dol, Nell and Arthur (all deceased). Ida is lovingly remembered by her children Shirley, Juliet, Charles, Isabel, Jason and Richard, as well as her sons and daughters-in-law: Andrew Borowiec, Trish Pearce, Clive Carr, Pip Pearce and Susan Pearce. Proud grandmother of Sebastian, Jasper, Yolanda, Jessica, Nicola, Harry, John, Clive, Jessica, Annabel and Nicholas and great-grandmother of Sam, Max, India, Sebastian, Iona, Tallulah, Jemima, Willow, Athena and Samuel. Daughter of Mignon and Charles Wakelin, survivor of both World Wars and the London Blitz, Ida was an inspiration to all who knew her and will be greatly missed. With deep sadness Laurine Perry passed away at Uxbridge Cottage Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Laurine leaves behind her loving husband Rev. Arthur Perry and her loving sister Grace Thompson (Tom, deceased). Colin Wilding, a WWII Veteran, and employee of Canada Post for 30 years has passed away in his 81st year on January 5th, at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville after residing at Hillsdale Terraces in Oshawa, Ontario for the past four years. Colin will be missed by beloved wife and best friend, Marion Wilding. Son of deceased father Sidney and mother Doris, deceased brother Sidney and all those surviving Colin; brother Ray (Thelma), daughter Bonny Belfry of Toronto, son Colin of Montreal, and all other family members including; Jim (Irene), Terry (Ginny), Heather (Gary), Wendy, Wayne (Luanne). Grandchildren; Sean, Michael, Kevin, Scott, Christopher, Melissa, Jake and Zachary, as well as three Great Grandchildren. A special thanks to the staff of Hillsdale Terraces for their kindness and care to Colin and to all other friends and family for their support.
