STACEY, Ernest Rolfe
On February 10, 2007, one day before his 90th birthday, Ernie went home to be with his Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Born on February 11, 1917 to William Ernest and Gladys Stacey. He is predeceased by his parents and wife of 66 years, May (Swallow), and granddaughter Rachel Bartosik. Survived by his brother Gordon (Mary), his children Barbara (Nick Copes), Bruce (Jane), Jan (Gail), Brendon (Betty Ann), Glendon, Jill (George Bartosik), 16 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Ernie will be greatly missed by both family and members of the Oshawa Fire Department, where he served faithfully as Fire Chief from 1967- 1981 with a total of 43 years of service. Visitation will be at the McINTOSH-ANDERSON FUNERAL HOME, 152 King St. E., Oshawa (905 433-5558), Thursday and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at Calvary Baptist Church, 300 Rossland Rd. E. in Oshawa (905-433-2960) on Saturday, February 17th at 1 pm. Interment to follow at Thornton Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to The Gideon Memorial Bible Plan, The Arms of Jesus Children's Mission (905 831-3646), and the Oshawa Hospital Foundation (905- 433-4339).

TADMAN, John Joseph
Peacefully in his 90th year on Sunday, February 11, 2007 at the Community Nursing Home in Pickering. Beloved Husband and best friend to Philomene 'Phil' (nee Hale) for almost 60 years. Much loved and adored Father and Father-in-law to Tom and his wife Janet Moir, Teresa and her husband Don Crowe (of Calgary) and Rosemary and her husband Michael Honey (of Ottawa). Cherished and admired Granddad to John, Michael, Andrew, Colleen, Alyssa, Megan and Cassandra. John's kind manner and quick wit will be missed by all who knew him. Friends may visit the Jerrett Funeral Home, 660 Kennedy Road, Scarborough on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. The Funeral Service will take place in the Chapel on Thursday at 10 a.m. Interment to Pine Hills Cemetery will follow the service. The family would like to extend their thanks to the Community Nursing Home in Pickering for the kind and compassionate care they gave John. In lieu of flowers, donations to Community Nursing Home, (1955 Valley Farm Road, Pickering, ON L1V 3R6) would be appreciated by the family. Play on 'Piano Man' your concert is in Heaven now.

WALKER, Marie Lillian
At her home in Pickering on Sunday, February 11, 2007. Beloved wife of the late Bruce Walker. Loving mother of Robert, Deborah Barker, Karen Dyson (Stephen), and Brenda Powers (Russ Sylvester). Proud grandmother of Sarah, Michael, Bradley, Angela, Ryan, Eric, Lindsay, Kristin, and Alexandria. Dear sister of George Riddell.

ANDERSON, Grace (nee Powell)
Went to be with her Lord, on Saturday, February 10, 2007 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa at the age of 88. Grace, beloved wife of the late James Daniel "Dan" Anderson (1972). Loving mother of Rose Marie and her husband Jim Kilgour of London, Joyce Amy Currie and her late husband Bill Currie of London, and John Robert Anderson and his wife Marilyn of Peterborough. Loved Grandmother of Kim Grace Currie, James Richard Kilgour, William James Currie, David Allen Kilgour, John Daniel Currie (Andrea), Johanna C Anderson (Ryan), and Great-Grandmother of Sierra, Kaitlyn, David, Hailey, and Emma. Dear sister of Frances Desaulniers, Thelma Lidstone, the late George Powell and the late Dorothy Marshall. Lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews and special friend Michelle. Grace will be missed by her friends at Evangel Pentecostal Church where she attended and supported until she was unable to attend due to declined health. Friends may call at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East, Oshawa, on Wednesday, February 14th from 2pm. A funeral service will take place in the chapel of the funeral home at 3pm. Spring Interment at Terrace Lawn Cemetery, North Bay. Memorial donations to World Vision would be greatly appreciated by the family.

FORBES, Thomas (Tom)
(Retired employee of Ontario Hydro Pickering).
Suddenly at home on Saturday, February 10, 2007, at the age of 70. Much loved husband of Jessie. Proud father to Linda and her husband Arthur McCrorie. Adored Papa to Jaclyn and Gavin. Tom will be fondly remembered by his extended family, mother-in-law Marjory, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, cousins, and all who knew him. Should family and friends so desire, donations to Charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.

HUTTON, Katherine (nee Kozak)
Passed away peacefully at Strathaven Lifecare Centre on Saturday, February 10th, 2007 in her 85th year. Loving and devoted wife of the late Harry Herbert Hutton. Loving mother of Charles Hutton and James Hutton and his wife Eve of Windsor. Dear Grandma of Shawna, Stephanie, Christopher, Johnathan and Bianca Hutton. Great grandma of Kaydn Hutton. Fondly remembered by her brothers Tony Kozak and his wife Myrna of Oshawa, Joe Kozak of Manitoba, John Kozak of British Columbia and her sister Mary Ludba of Saskatchewan. Predeceased by her sisters Anne Hrywkiw and Polly Gurski. A private family service has taken place. Interment Ebenezer Cemetery, Courtice. Memorial donations to Canadian Cancer Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated. Funeral arrangements entrusted to OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234).

McCONNELL-JOHNSTON, Grace Patricia
Peacefully, at Strathaven Lifecare Centre, Bowmanville, on Saturday, February 10, 2007, Grace, in her 81st year. Beloved wife of the late Alan Johnston.
