McFADDEN, Viola R.
After a long and full journey of 94 years, Viola passed away at her daughter’s residence in Seeley’s Bay surrounded by love. Beloved wife of the late M. Douglas McFadden. Loving mother of Linda Mainse and her husband Douglas of Seeley’s Bay. Cherished grandmother of Brad, Rebecca Laverance (Andrew) and Hilary and her partner Troy. Sadly missed by great-grandchildren Hunter, Callum and Graeme and one great-grandson to be born soon, whom she was awaiting with great anticipation. Predeceased by two sisters Beulah Cooper and Erma Watts and by three brothers Clayton, Elwin and Harvey Potter.
Family and friends may pay their respects at the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Celebration of Viola’s life will be held in the Chapel on Saturday at 11 a.m. Cremation will follow at Roselawn Crematorium, Maitland. In memoriams to the Garreton Anglican Church will be gratefully acknowledged.

McKEE, Leo Ronald
Peacefully at the Winchester District Memorial Hospital, on Thursday, February 8, 2007, Leo McKee of Iroquois in his 75th year. Dearly beloved husband of Yvonne McKee (nee Shipman). Loving father of Richard (Teresa), Cynthia McKee, Karen Lanoue (Darryl Markell) and Jeff (Anita Bellinger) all of Iroquois. Survived by his sister Dorothy VanAllen of Morrisburg and by his brothers Pliney (Connie) of Brockville, Ray (Helen) of Cobourg and Ollie (Nan) of Trenton. Predeceased by his daughter and son in infancy, his parents Cornelius and Della, a brother George and a grandson Mark Cinnamon. Sadly missed by 15 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Marsden McLaughlin Funeral Home Iroquois on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service at the Funeral Home on Monday, February 12th at 1 p.m. Spring Interment Iroquois Point Cemetery. Donations to the Winchester Hospital or the Alzheimer Association would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.

BARKLEY, Charles Edward
Peacefully at his residence on Wednesday, January 31, 2007, Charles Edward Barkley, age 70 years of RR4 Mallorytown. Beloved husband of Mary Barkley (nee Burley). Dear father of Charles Patrick Barkley of RR4 Mallorytown, Anne Klassen (Jim) of Lindsay, Carol Barkley of Port Colborne, Brenda McLeod of St. Catharine's and Wendy Barkley of Port Colborne. Loving grandfather of 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Darlene, Marg, Betty, Donna, Cora, Doris, Harry and Wayne. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Gerald Barkley and the former Greta Patrick as well as several siblings.
Friends may call at the Judson Funeral Home, Athens, on Thursday, February 1st, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday, February 2nd, at 11 a.m. Interment Mallorytown Cemetery. In memoriams to Hospice of Providence Palliative Care will be gratefully acknowledged by the family.

BLAIR, Harold (Harry)
Entered into rest at his residence on January 29, 2007, at the age of 76 years. Son of the late Jennie and Irwin Blair. Father of Kelly Blair (Janice) of Chilliwack, B.C., Shelley Blair Wellard (Chuck) and Tracey Blair Bristow (Mark). Also survived by three grandchildren and by his former wife Marie Radke Blair.
A Gathering in Celebration of Harry's life will be held at the Irvine Funeral Home, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Monday from 3-5 p.m. Cremation will be held at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Maitland with private interment at Oakland Cemetery following. In remembrance of Harry, in lieu of flowers, donations to the Brockville General Hospital Foundation or the Hospice of Providence Palliative Care.

HILL, Arthur J.
It is with much sadness that the family announces the passing of Arthur J. Hill. Dearly loved husband and best friend of Anna Campbell Hill. He is survived by his daughter Deborah Gilmer (Richard), sister Barbara Sheridan and brother Peter Hill, his grandchildren Meghan, James, Joanna and Trevor Gilmer; his stepsons Ian Campbell (Heather), Robert Campbell (Sandra) and step-grandchildren James (Monique) Jeffrey, Sarah, Andrew and Amber Lee Campbell. He was predeceased by his son Derek.
Visitation will take place at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl Street East, Brockville on Thursday, February 1st from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with funeral in the Chapel of the Funeral Home on Friday, February 2nd at 2 p.m. If friends desire, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Kidney Foundation. Salem Masonic Lodge, No. 368 A.F. and A.M. will hold a Memorial Service on Thursday evening at 6:45 p.m. in the Funeral Home, followed by Vimy Ridge No. 129 Order of the Eastern Star at 7 p.m. All Sister Lodges are invited.

BOGDANOVIC, Draga
Entered peacefully into rest in Brockville on Wednesday, January 24th, 2007. Dearly beloved wife of the late Desimir (Des). Devoted mother of Nada Beamish (Rob) of Kingston and Vera Ashton (Greg) of Cincinnati. Proud and loving grandmother of Travis (Stephanie McMillan) and Ryan Beamish and Chris and Dan Ashton.
Visitation will be held at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl Street East, Brockville on Friday, January 26th from 6-9 p.m. Brief Memorial Service at 7 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at the Greek Orthodox Church (Hellenic Community), Perth Street, Brockville on Friday, January 27th at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Maitland. Our deepest heartfelt gratitude for the love and care provided by all the staff and volunteers at Sherwood Park Manor. Donations to Sherwood Park Manor would be deeply appreciated by the family.

Entered into rest at her residence, Brockville, on January 2007, Anne Eleanor Deguire of Brockville, age 51 years. Mother of Kassandra Deguire of Brockville, William Deguire and Jason Dunse. Sister of Michael Deguire and his wife Nathalie of Arnprior. Aunt of Simon Deguire and also survived by cousins Sara, Malissa and Jacob Deguire. Predeceased by her parents Joseph Gerald Deguire and his wife Gene Clark and a sister Debra Dequire.
Friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl Street East, Brockville on Friday, January 26, 2007 from 12 noon until 2 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel at 2 p.m. Interment will be at Oakland Cemetery at a later date. GIFFORD, Donna Leone, R.N.
Peacefully, on Wednesday, January 24, 2007 at Brockville General Hospital, Garden Street Site, at the age of 76 years. Beloved wife of George Gifford. Loving mother of Wendy Dunn (Peter) of Brockville and Nancy Williamson (Garry) of North Augusta. Dear grandma to Michael and James Dunn, Tahneen, Chiara and Alina Williamson. Dear sister of Jim Robertson (Shirley) of Brockville and Emma Jean Malloch of Arnprior. Loving aunt of several nieces and nephews. Sister-in-law of Evelyn Gifford and Vivian Gifford. Fondly remembered by her close friend Joan Smith of Rockport.

McCREA, Kathleen
Peacefully at the Wellington House Nursing Home, Prescott on Wednesday, January 24, 2007, at the age of 79. Beloved wife of the late Rodden McCrea. Loving mother of John McCrea (Norie) of Roebuck and Mike McCrea (Joann) of Roebuck. Stepmother of Ronald (Eileen) McCrea. Grandmother of Jennifer (Mrs. Chris Sawyer), Thomas, Dianne, Carrie and Maggie. Great-grandmother of Ella Sawyer. Also survived by brother Clendon (Julie) and sisters Betty Kehoe and Margaret Mahon as well as numerous nieces, nephews and step-grandchildren. Predeceased by grandson Lucas, daughter-in-law Edna McCrea, her dear brother Kenny Closs, stepdaughters Kathleen Lavigne and Alice Carrier, and by a stepson Pat McCrea.
As per Kathleen’s request there will be a private visitation. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Mark’s Catholic Church, Prescott on Friday, January 26, 2007 at 2 p.m. Interment in the spring at Maynard Cemetery. For those wishing, the family would appreciate donations to the C.N.I.B. or the Wellington House Activity Program. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Chris Slater Funeral Home, 416 Dibble Street West, Prescott.

BRADLEY-HARE, Lorraine
Peacefully, with her family by her side, at the Brockville General Hospital, Garden Street Site on Friday, January 19, 2007, the former Lorraine Cardiff of RR1, Prescott, age 72 years. Beloved wife of the late David Bradley. Dear mother of Kevan Bradley and his wife Susan of RR1, Prescott. Loving grandmother of Kris and Greg Bradley. Sister of Mildred Bell and her husband James of RR2, Jasper. Aunt of Larry Bell and his wife Linda, Bill Bell and Sandra Doyle and her husband Leonard, all of RR2, Jasper. Also survived by a brother-in-law Walter Bradley and his wife Betty of Athens, a sister-in-law Joyce Bradley of RR1, Brockville as well as several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Lloyd and Julia (Hawe) Cardiff.
