CRIPPEN, Ross
At the St. Vincent de Paul Hospital on May 25th, 2005, at the age of 84 years. Predeceased by his beloved wife Geraldine (Stone) Crippen on May 23rd, 2005, and also predeceased by his first wife Dorothy (Perry) Crippen in 1971. Loving father of Virginia Harper of Kanata and Perry Crippen (Sally) of Oakville. Fondly remembered by his granddaughter Alexandra Crippen of Oakville. Predeceased by sisters Susie and Eileen and by a son-in-law Mel Harper. Ross is also survived by his extended family Gail Reid, Bryan Pittman (Elaine), Donna Aimer (Brian), Marcia Pittman and Brenda Craig (John).

CROMWELL, Eugene
On Monday, May 23, 2005 at Brockville General Hospital, at the age of 81 years. Beloved husband of the former Jean Sauvé. Loving father of Peter and his wife Edna of Ottawa, Robert and his wife Paulette of RR1, Brockville and Brian and his wife Nora of McDonald’s Corners. Fondly remembered by grandchildren Scott, Stephanie, Kyle, Melissa, Curtis and Steven. Also survived by his brothers-in-law Ed and Duke Sauvé, both of Montreal. Predeceased by a brother Raymond Hayton Cromwell in infancy and by brothers-in-law Peter, Giles and Louis Sauvé.

McLARRY, John A. J.
John Albert Joseph McLarry, 71 years old, entered into rest on Saturday, May 14, 2005 at home with his family by his side. He is survived by his wife the former Iona Pearl Blanchard and seven children; Laura McLarry of Lanark, Richard McLarry and wife Louella of Brockville, Michael McLarry and wife Christine of Lanark, Liesa Senneker and husband Rick of North Augusta, Joe McLarry and wife Tammy of Brockville, Jason McLarry and wife Anita of Napanee and Ashley Rogers of Georgia; thirteen grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, close family friends James and Bonnie Shaw of Lyn, a brother Elmer McLarry and wife Elaine of Brockville, a sister Janie Lovegrove and husband Fred of Mallorytown, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and his younger brother Leo.

MORROW, Robert “Bob” Steven
Suddenly on Friday, May 20, 2005 at the age of 45. Bob, loving and proud father of Ryan and Patrick Morrow and their mother Susan Brennan Morrow. Beloved son of Mardie Johnston and the late Robert Morrow. Bob will be lovingly remembered by his sisters Beth Muchmore and her husband Cliff and Susan Sager (the late Donald). He will be sadly missed by his aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and his many friends. Bob is a member of the Brockville Sports Hall of Fame and a past President of the Kingston Township Little League Baseball Association.

Mrs. Jean (Jeannie) Ruth Nicholson of Windsor at the Windsor Regional Hospital surrounded by family on Sunday, May 22, 2005 at the age of 74 years. Loving wife of the late Charles (Charlie) Nicholson. Dear mother of Nancy Nicholson of Windsor, Laurel Nicholson of Windsor, Beth Nicholson (Paul) of Brockville and David Nicholson (Michael) of Toronto. Will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Joel, Jennifer, Ashely and Emily and one great-granddaughter Matalyn. Also survived by two nieces Gail Kayuk and Cathy Horvath and by four nephews Alan Watkinson, Rick Nicholson, Michael and Matt Barnes. Predeceased by her parents William and Jean (Grierson) McKellar, and by one sister Nancy. She was a life master in bridge, had a keen interest in metaphysics, loved Florida and was a past member of the Opti Mrs Club.

At his residence on Monday, May 23rd, 2005, Butch Tackaberry, age 50 years, of Plum Hollow. Loving son of Phyllis Tackaberry (nee Percival) and the late Arthur Tackaberry. Beloved friend of Lisa and her son Tyler. Dear father of Jordon Tackaberry (mother Tracy) of RR1, Athens. Fondly remembered by two brothers and one sister, George Tackaberry, Ron Tackaberry and his wife Joyce, all of Charleston Lake and Betty Tackaberry of Toronto. Predeceased by a sister-in-law Joan Tackaberry of Charleston Lake. Butch will be sadly missed by several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

At the Brockville General Hospital on May 24, 2005 in his 95th year. Beloved husband of the late Wanda Cooper. Dear father of Carol Bogart of Ottawa, Jean Grant of Prescott, Ruth Rodford of Smiths Falls, Richard (Dick) Taylor of Medicine Hat and John (Jack) Taylor of Cornwall. Sadly missed by fifteen grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Eileen Fisher and Muriel Pitt. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Garnet was a friend to many at the Legion Village, as well as a special friend of Ramona Lafrieniere of Brockville and Lily and Elizabeth Lane of Richmond Hill. Predeceased by a son Leonard, by sisters Helen Leslie, Flossie Amell and Dorothy Arthurs and by brothers Kenneth and Carl Taylor.

Also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Art, James, Eddie and Garnet Serson, Irene Young, Elsie Burtch and Myrtle Lafirst. WHITEHOUSE, Thomas James
Passed away in Burnaby, British Columbia on May 22, 2005 at the age of 68. He was born in Toronto on October 21, 1936. Tom was predeceased by his father Isaac Thomas Whitehouse, his mother Nellie Sarah Parker and his sister Margaret Helen Thorpe. He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Leone, his son Randall Alan, daughter Christine Leigh and his grandsons Benjamin and Wil. Graduated from Ryerson Institute in 1957 with a degree in Metallurgical Technology. Tom was a long term employee of Microtel and Telus.
At Tom’s request there will be no service. Cremation entrusted to Valley View Memorial Gardens.
FORSYTH, Mary
Entered into rest at the Brockville General Hospital on Thursday, May 19, 2005. The former Mary Katherine Stitt of Brockville, age 86 years. Beloved wife of David Forsyth. Dear mother of William Gardiner and his wife Wendy of Burlington, Ian Gardiner, Sheila Brown and her husband John all of Scotland. Also survived by eleven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. Will be greatly missed by friends Gerry and Carline Belanger, Mona Latham and their families. Predeceased by her parents Archibald and Mary (Bronx) Stitt, five brothers James, Ben, Will, Tom and Archie and four sisters Jenny, Meg, Bessie and Rouie.
