HUDSON, Lois
Entered into rest at the Brockville General Hospital on Wednesday, July 20, 2005, the former Lois Mary Savard of Brockville, age 74 years. Beloved wife of John Hudson, dear mother of Carole Billings of Toronto, Donna Cousineau and her friend Trevor of Brampton and Sharon Hudson of Brockville. Loving grandmother of Danny, Sarah, Chantal and Vanessa. Survived by a brother Ronald Savard (Thelma), and sisters Marlyn Lunney (Al) and June Robertson. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl Street East, Brockville on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in the Chapel on Saturday, July 23, 2005 at 2 p.m. Interment will follow at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery. In memoriams to St. John Bosco Parish Centre or St. Francis Xavier Church would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.

O’GRADY, Michael James
Peacefully at the Perth & Smiths Falls District Hospital, Smith Falls Site on Thursday, July 21, 2005, Michael James O’Grady of RR1 Toledo, in his 93rd year. Beloved husband of Etta Lawson. Dear father of Bonnie (Richard) Smith of Delta, Anna (Roland) Pegg of Lombardy, Theresa (Del) Reil of Toledo, Mary (Winston) Gifford of Forfar, Cathy (Ron) Metcalfe of Bath, Gerald (Nancy) O’Grady of Toledo, Karen (Earl) Townsend of Harlem, Marlaine (Brian) Hart of Plum Hollow, Michael (Tracy) O’Grady of Portland. Fondly remembered by 17 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the Scotland Funeral Home, 27 Main Street, Elgin on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Philip Neri Church, Toledo on Saturday morning at 11 o’clock. Rite of Committal, St. Philip Neri Cemetery, Toledo. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations made to the Alzheimer Society or the Charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.

SICARD, Henry Charles
Suddenly at Brockville General Hospital on Wednesday, July 20. 2005 in his 60th year. Beloved husband of Patricia (Pat) Sicard (nee Saunders). Loving father to Lisa Sturgeon, Theresa Telgen (Dave) all of RR2, Brockville, and Angie Jannack of Cardinal. Fondly remembered by grandchildren Dillon, Kylie, Kristin, Jessie and Eric and predeceased by grandson Joshua. Dear brother of Rose Lasalle (Emil) of Calumet Island, Betty Jonkman (Albert) of Kitimat, BC, Ernie Sicard (Lillian) of Mallorytown and Jerry Lasalle (Beth) of RR2, Brockville. Henry was predeceased by his parents Oswald Sicard and Evelyn Gratton, by his sister Gabrielle Lasalle, and by brothers Lawrence and Gerald Sicard.
Family and friends may pay their respects at the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in the Chapel on Saturday at 11 a.m. with interment to follow at St. Francs Xavier Cemetery. In remembrance, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Diabetes Association will be gratefully acknowledged.

YALDEN, Hubert J.
Peacefully at the Brockville General Hospital, on Tuesday, July 19, 2005. Hubert Yalden of Cardinal in his 85th year.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Saturday, July 23, at 10 a.m. at the Iroquois Point Cemetery, Iroquois, Ontario. Arrangements are in the care of the Marsden McLaughlin Funeral Home, Cardinal.

ANDERSON, Beatrice
In hospital, Brockville on June 12, 2005, Beatrice Anderson of St. Lawrence Lodge at the age of 93 years. Wife of the late Everett Anderson and mother of the late Claudette Kirkham. Survived by grandsons Rob Leclaire and Marcel Leblanc.
The Liturgy of the Christian Funeral will be celebrated at St. Francis Xavier Church on Tuesday, June 21st at 10:30 a.m. Arrangements entrusted to Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville.

COZENS, Leslie
In hospital, Brockville, on Friday, June 17, 2005, Leslie Cozens (retired Rideau Regional Centre), at the age of 80. Beloved husband of Joyce (Phillips) Cozens. Loved father of Ethel (Randy) Beaupre of Frankville, Bradley (Debbie) of Brockville, Twila (Garry Thompson) Cozens of Cornwall, Ann (Ross) Bacon of London, Dan (Beth) of RR1, Lombardy. Brother of Vera (Bill) Burt of Smiths Falls. Cherished grandfather of 15 and great-grandfather of four.
Friends may pay their respects a the Blair and Son Funeral Home, Smiths Falls on Monday, June 20th from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday, June 21st at 11 a.m. In memoriam donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.

CASTLEMAN, Martha E. (Demers)
Cardinal, Ontario - Funeral Services for Martha Demers Castleman, 47, of Galop Canal Road, Cardinal, Ontario and formerly of Ogdensburg, NY will be held on Monday, June 6, 2005 at 9:30 a.m. at the Funeral Home and 11:00 a.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Hwy 2, Riverside Heights, Ontario with the Reverend Joe Barkley-Probst officiating. Burial will be in the St. John’s Cemetery, Riverside Heights, Ontario. Immediately followed by a reception at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 105, Cardinal, Ontario. Calling hours will be held Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Marsden & McLaughlin Funeral Home, 2065 Dundas Street, Cardinal, Ontario (613)657-4848.
Mrs. Castleman died Wednesday (June 1, 2005) at the Brockville General Hospital after being suddenly stricken at her home. She is survived by her husband Barton, a stepson Allen and mother-in-law Pauline Castleman, sister-in-law Barbara and Eddy Seymour and their children Tracy Seymour, Robin Roberts, Shelly and Ben Norgard and Steven Seymour, her father Francis “Chappy” and Bev Demers of Lisbon, NY, brother Robert “Frannie” and Jane Demers and their children Tiffany and Todd Demers of Claire, NY, brother David and Laurie Demers and their children Alex and Kyle Demers of Ogdensburg, NY, a sister Beverly and John Newman and their children Samantha Girard and John Newman Jr. of Boca Raton, Florida. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Castleman was predeceased by her mother June (Roberts) Taylor, a sister Trudy Demers Rodriguez and a niece Elizabeth Demers.
Martha was born July 12, 1957, in Ogdensburg, the daughter of Francis and June (Roberts) Demers. She graduated from Ogdensburg Free Academy in 1975. On November 2, 1985, married Barton Castleman at St. Paul’s Church, Morrisburg, Ontario with Rev. Kayre officiating. Mrs. Castleman worked in the food service industry for many years and was owner of “The Chatterbox Cafe” in Cardinal, Ontario. She was secretary for the St. John’s Church council. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, traveling, computers, blue grass festivals, car racing, poker, camping and boating and her beloved dog “Panda”.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. John’s Lutheran Church in memory of Martha Castleman, Hwy 2, Cardinal, Ontario K0E 1E0.

HARRISON, Ada Elizabeth
Entered into rest at the Brockville General Hospital on Thursday, June 2nd, 2005. The former Ada Elizabeth Thompson of Brockville, age 96 years. Beloved wife of the late Philip Oliver Harrison. Dear aunt of Dr. G. E. Buck Newsome and his wife Austina of Antigonish, NS, Philip Newsome and his wife Eleanor of Brockville, David Harrison and his wife Lynn of Hastings, and Paul Harrison. Great-aunt of Brent Newsome and his wife Erika of Halifax and Trevor Newsome and his wife Holly of Ottawa. Also survived by a brother-in-law Gilbert Harrison and his wife Dorothy of Peterborough and several great-great-nephews and nieces. Predeceased by her parents George Sutton and Eliza Ellen (Garbett) Thompson and a sister Catherine Newsome.
A Graveside Service for Mrs. Harrison will be held at Riverside Cemetery, Weston, on Monday, June 6th 2005 at 2 p.m. In memoriams to the Canadian Cancer Society would be gratefully acknowledged by the family. Barclay Funeral Home, 137 Pearl Street East, Brockville entrusted with the arrangements.

IRVINE, Robert
Entered into rest at Brockville on June 1, 2005, Robert Irvine, at the age of 47 years. Beloved son of Grace and Douglas Irvine. Dear father of Mitchell and Jesse of Calgary. Dear brother of Susan Gifford (Carl) of Prince Edward County and Carolyn Lea (John) of Strathroy. Also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins and his former wife Colleen Chapman.
A Private Visitation and Family Service will be held at the Roselawn Tribute Centre and Crematorium, Maitland, followed by cremation. In memoriams to Wall Street Memorial Fund will be gratefully acknowledged.

CRIPPEN, Geraldine
At the St. Vincent de Paul Hospital, surrounded by her family, on May 23, 2005 in her 83rd year. Beloved wife of Ross Crippen (who passed away today). Dear mother of Gail Reid, Bryan Pittman (Elaine), Donna Aimer (Brian), Marcia Pittman and Brenda Craig (John). Sadly missed by 13 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Alton Stone (Marion) and Gwen Howley Sheilds (James) and sadly missed by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by three sons Arthur, Keith and Paul Pittman, a son-in-law Richard Reid, brothers Eric, Keith, Arthur and Emerson Stone and by her parents Charles and Leora (Kyle) Stone. Fondly remembered by her dear aunt Thelma Kyle and by her extended family Virginia Harper and Perry Crippen.
Family and friends may pay their respects at the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. and Friday from 10 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. thence to St. James Anglican Church, Maitland where a Holy Eucharist in Thanksgiving for Geraldine’s life will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at St. James Cemetery, Maitland. In memoriams to the Hospice of Providence Palliative Care or St. James Anglican Church will be gratefully acknowledged.
