Peacefully at home after a year long battle with cancer, at the age of 52, on Thursday, January 22nd, 2009.
Beloved husband and dear friend to Barbara. Predeceased by his first wife Wende in 2001, his father Jock, his step-father Fred, his mother Margaret, and his good friend Gene Colbrooke. Survived by his brother Malcolm Ross Campbell, wife Pat and niece Caitlin, and stepson Timothy Blair.
Founding chair of the Oshawa Downtown Board of Management and Downtown Action Committee, Past Member of the Board of Directors of Lakeview Health Corporation, and member of the Friends of Second Marsh Steering Committee. Founding member of Protect The Ridges and Treasurer of the Oshawa Santa Clause Parade for the past six years.
Kevin built a thriving business specializing in taxation and was a valued advisor to his clients for the past 26 years. He was also a political operative in many elections for over the last 30 years. His contributions will be sadly missed.

Died in Bowmanville Ontario January 22, 2009 in her 93rd year. Born in Guelph Ontario 2 September 1916 to Charles Fuller & Ruth Simpson, she married Cecil McGinnis (who predeceased her in 1960) in Guelph in 1936. Survived by her sister Eileen Harrison of Woodstock; sons Larry (& Bonnie) McGinnis of Niagara Falls, David McGinnis of Markham; daughters Charleen Zaleski of Vancouver and Lorine (& Brian) Massey of Midland; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Passed peacefully on Wednesday, January 21st, 2009 at Lakeridge Health, Oshawa in her 60th year.
Loving mother of Jeannette, Chantal (Martin Jefferson) and Justin. Proud Grand Maman of Caled and Chloé. Linda’s proudest accomplishments in life were her loving family and her loyal friends. Her devotion to family took her from Scarborough, to New Brunswick, to the Pyramids of Giza and all points in between.
To Linda, home was wherever she was surrounded by family. Her “Circle of Friends”, as she put it, stood by her in good times and bad, whether it was a chat over coffee, or a comforting hand in times of need, she often spoke about her appreciation for such good friends. Linda’s final days were spent at peace surrounded by her friends and family.

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our much loved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather on January 20, 2009.
Dearly loved husband of Verna (Robinson) for 71 years, proud father of Winnifred, Charles (Maralyn), and Douglas (Janet), loving grandfather of Richard (Darlene), Brian (Koreen), Colin (Emerald), Darren (Jennifer), Julie (Trevor), Patrick (Amy) and Ryan, and loving great-grandfather of Claire, Thomas Edwin; Isabel; Lienna; Riley, Abigale, Olivia; Parker and Hayden. Edwin leaves brothers George (Edna) and Jack (Janet), and many nieces and nephews. Edwin was predeceased by an infant daughter Edwina, by his parents Charles and Charlotte, and by siblings Dolly, Violet, and Ernest.
Edwin was born in Elk Lake, Ontario on January 11, 1912, educated in Elk Lake and the Academy at Monteith. He enjoyed a long and distinguished career in the hardware business in Northern Ontario at George Taylor Hardware retiring as branch manager at Acklands, New Liskeard. Edwin enjoyed curling, golf, fishing, and our cottage at Twin Lakes. Special thanks to the staff at Lakeridge Health Oshawa for their devoted and loving care.
