Devoted husband of Eileen for 43 years. Loving father of Mike and Shaun (Paula). Cherished grandfather (Gaga) of Liam. Dear brother of Don (Helen), Pat (Pauline), Jack (Paula), Eileen, Vern and Mary. James will be fondly remembered by Joyce and Bob Shearer and family and by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by first wife Shirley. Edith (nee Murphy) of Blackstock, beloved wife of the late Roy McLaughlin. Loving mother of Donna and her husband David Kyte, Denis McLaughlin and his wife Jo, and Deb and her husband Ron Vice all of Blackstock. Loved grandmother of Karen, Jason, Susan, Steven, Aaron, Brad, Emily, Rachel, Sean and 13 great-grandchildren.
The family of Edith McLaughlin will receive friends at the Blackstock United Church on Sunday, January 18th from 12 – 2 p.m. A Service to Celebrate Edith’s life will be held in the Church at 2 p.m. with Reverend Linda Saffrey officiating with a reception to follow in the Christian Education Room. Interment Cartwright Union Cemetery in the Spring.
