It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our much loved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather on Tuesday, January 13, 2009.
Dearly loved husband of 38 years to Rosina. Proud father to Robert and Debra of Troy, Michigan; Elisabeth and Ken of Naples, Florida; Rona and David of Oshawa; Yvonne and Mike of Oshawa; Moira (David deceased) of Toronto; Sharon and Lester of Oshawa. Cherished grandfather of 21 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Brother to Mary Mitchell. Pre-deceased by his first wife Elspeth. Bob (as he was known to his family and friends) was born in Paisley, Scotland June 3, 1922.
He retired from General Motors as a tool and die maker after 25 years of dedicated service. He was an avid soccer fan having played semi-pro in his native Scotland. He was a life-long learner and his knowledge of History and Geography astounded us all. His love for his family was unconditional and nothing made him happier than large family gatherings. He had great affection for animals and Mookie will miss his warm lap. He was loved and respected and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Passed away at the Wynfield Nursing Home on Tuesday, January 13th, 2009 at the age of 92.
Nessie, beloved wife of the late Harold. Loving mother of Sandra Kolsteren and John and his wife Linda. Fondly remembered by her grandchildren Bonnie, Jeffery, Kathleen and Ian. Great grandmother to Miles, Dylan, Shelby, Travis, Jaycee, Carina and Anthony.
Resting at the W.C. TOWN FUNERAL CHAPEL, 110 Dundas Street East, Whitby. Funeral service to take place in the chapel on Saturday, January 17th, 2009 at 1 p.m. Cremation to follow. Passed away peacefully on January 13, 2009 at age 99. Predeceased by her husband, Fausto.
Beloved mother of Amelia and her husband Greg, Fausto Jr. and his wife Susan, Leticia and her husband Jeff, Petronio and his wife Janet, Gloria and her husband Tuangui, and Erlinda and her husband John. Grandmother of Fran, Tanya, Anthony, Tina, Tamara, Cecilia, Daisy, Ernie, Newton, Aaron, and Rachel. Great-grandmother of Oscar, Isaac, Charlotte, Caitlin, Gabriela, and Christian-Felix. She will be fondly remembered for her boundless energy, endless stories, jovial nature, cookies, and most of all; a very loving and caring mother and grandmother.

Loving grandfather of 12 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Peppina Bruni (predeceased), Rina and Tony Trotta, Ottorina and Mariano Canonico, and Eugenio and Giuseppina Damiani. Fondly remembered by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health on January 12th, 2009. 71 years young.
Survived by sister Eilene McComb, brother Bart Collins, daughters Tamara Collins, Tassa Gallant, Jill Gugula, grandchildren Chad, Joshua, Corrissa, Justin, and great-grandchildren, Cameron and Gavin. He will be greatly missed and always in our hearts.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 16th at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 43, Simcoe St. S. 1-5pm, to celebrate his life. Arrangements entrusted to ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME.
MOORE, Janet Lynn (nee Tymchuk)
After a lengthy battle and admirable fight, passed away at home in Oshawa on Monday, January 12th, 2009.
She was the beloved wife of Gordon Moore and caring mother to Sean, Ryan and Christopher. Well loved and will be abidingly missed by her father and mother, William and Sandy Tymchuk. Janet will be fondly remembered by her brothers; Bill, Nick and Troy and her sisters-in-law; Patricia and Ida.
With loving respect, Janet will remain in the memory of her mother-in-law Helen Moore; daughter-in-law Meaghan Snow; step-daughters; Michelle and Tracy and sons-in-law Grant and Raymond. Janet will be recalled with enduring affection by her granddaughter Lexi and her grandsons Cole and Carter. She will live in memory for her sisters-in-law; Shawn and Theresa and brothers-in-law; Ted and Bill. She will also be missed by those family and friends to whom she unfailingly gave her compassion and heartfelt decency.
On behalf of those who knew Janet, acknowledgement and gratitude should be given to the Palliative Care teams at Princess Margaret and Lakeridge Health Oshawa.

Victor is survived by his devoted loving wife Ursula, his three children Victor, Ruthy and Ann, his sisters Terese, Brone, and Genute and his brother Kazimieras.
