EARL, Lawrence Barry Sgt. RCAMC WWII The Public Archives of Canada At the Perley & Rideau Veteran's Health Centre on Thursday, October 26, 2000, in his 87th year. Son of the late Lawrence Glenn Earl and Ella Barry Earl of Athens, Ontario. Brother of William Earl of Pembroke and the late Marion Smith-Harrington of Victoria, B.C. Lawrence served aboard the hospital ships Letitia and the Lady Nelson during World War II. He then enjoyed a 36 year career in the public service, the map section of the Public Archives of Canada. He was a long time resident of Ottawa. Friends may visit at the St. Laurent Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 1200 Ogilvie Road at Aviation Parkway, on Monday, October 30th, 2000, from 12 noon until service time in the Chapel at 2 p.m. Interment Beechwood cemetery. As an expression of sympathy memorial contributions to the Perley & Rideau Veteran's Health Centre Foundation would be appreciated.

ERWIN, Norman James Born June 16, 1928, passed away Friday, October 27, 2000 following a courageous battle with cancer. He will be sadly missed by his wife Rita Clairoux, daughter Doris and son Peter (Sue); grandchildren Jarrett and Cody; sister Aletha (Merril). Predeceased by parents Austin and Alfreda; brother Keith; sisters Orma and Peggy. Cremation followed by Graveside Service at St. Luke's cemetery , Eardley Highway, Luskville, Quebec at 2 p.m., Monday, October 30.
