WHITE, Edward Lloyd Peacefully with his family by his side in hospital at Carleton Place, Ontario on Tuesday, October 10, 2000. Edward "Ed" Lloyd White in his 81st year. Cherished husband for 60 years of Eleanor Jackson. Dear son of the late Walter Anson White and his wife the late Susan Pearl Morris. Loving father and grandfather of Don (Helen) and their son Jeffrey of Nepean and Doug (Leslie) and their sons Noel and Nathan of Thornhill. Survived by his sister-in-law Edna Ritchie. Predeceased by his brothers and sisters, Roy (Eva), Vera Hueston (Alex), Olive Nield (Leslie), William and Jim. Ed played for dances around eastern Ontario for 50 years. He was best known for his country dance band, The Mississippi River Boys. Retired Floral Designer at Rideau Hall where he served six Governor Generals. Friends may call at the ALAN R. BARKER FUNERAL HOME 19 McArthur Avenue, Carleton Place on Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service to be held in the chapel on Friday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. BERIAULT, Francois Of Val des Bois, passed away June 12, 2000, at the age of 72 years. Beloved husband of Madeleine Arial. Son of the late Armand Beriault and of the late Jeanne Gareau. Survived by five children, Jean-Pierre (Louise Tremblay) of Gatineau, Lyne (Richard Servant) of Buckingham, Francois (Johanne Gravel) of Gatineau, Monique and Colette (Benoit Emond) of Buckingham. Predeceased by his daughter, Francoise. Beloved grandfather of 15 grandchildren. Also survived by one brother, Lucien (Rita Legault), two sisters, Gisele (Raymond Ravignat) and Yvette (late Herve Dupont). Predeceased by his brothers and sisters, Roland (late Rolande Belanger), Georges (late Antoinette Prevost), Leopold (late Fleurette Raymond), Therese (late Marcel Quirouette) and Jeannette (late Lorenzo Blouin).
