TROTTER, Wayne Bert Suddenly at the Kingston General Hospital on Monday July 3, 2000, in his 52nd year. Beloved husband of Marie (nee Cook) of Sandhurst. Dear father of Mark, Kingston and Jason & Mat, both at home. Cherished son of Verna and the late Jerry Trotter, Kingston. Survived by his brother Jerry, Kingston and his sisters June Killoran (Russ), Kingston and Christine Willis, Belleville. Fondly remembered by his extended family and many friends and co-workers. Loving father of Nicole and her husband Mike Malloy, Paula and her husband Pat Leybourne, Louise Carriere, Mark and his wife Christine, Alan and his wife Shelley. TOEPPNER, Bess (nee Durrant) The family is deeply saddened by the loss of Bess at the Kingston General Hospital on December 6, 2000. Bess was predeceased by her best friend and husband of 52 years, Paul. Dearly beloved mother of Bob (Margaret Graham) of Mississauga and Diane (Ron Ball) of Kingston. Bess will also be loved and missed forever by her grandson Rob Toeppner, her granddaughters Tammy Toeppner and Carolyn Clarkson and great-granddaughter Laura Berry. There will be no visitation. Funeral service will be held at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 263 Victoria Street K7L 3Y9 (corner of Victoria and Earl), Kingston, on Monday, December 11 at 10:00 a.m., followed by a Committal service at Rideau Memorial Gardens in Dollard des Ormeaux, Quebec at 3:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bess' memory to the stained glass window fund at St. Mark's Lutheran Church or to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated and acknowledged by the family. WILSON, Nettie A. After a lengthy illness, surrounded by her loving family entered into a peaceful sleep at home on Wednesday the 6th of December, 2000 in her 70th year. Loving husband Frank (James F.), son Robert and his wife Kelly, daughter Mary Alice and Chris, and son Andrew and his wife Jane. Grandchildren Alicia, James, Katlyn, and Emily, and eight loving sisters. A memorial service, in celebration of Nettie's life, will be held in the Chapel of the James Reid Funeral Home, Cataraqui Chapel (Counter Street at Highway #2), on Saturday, December 9, 2000 at 3:30 p.m. Memorial Donations for those who wish may be made to the Kingston Regional Cancer Centre. Nettie lived and died in the Lord. Her legacy is her family, and the family is a living testimony to the power of God's love made manifest through Nettie and her family. Charles Lowe Thomson Of Oshawa, Ontario, passed away on October 25, 2000, at Lakeridge Hospital, Oshawa. Charles was born in Greenock, Scotland, the son of the late Hugh and Margaret Thomson. He had lived in Oshawa for 2 years and previously in Kingston for 42 years. Charles was a custodian at the post office and had been retired for 16 years, he had also worked at the Kingston Shipyards and the Ontario Hospital. Charles was married for 51 years to Helen (Cameron). He attended St. Mungo's School in Greenock, Scotland. Charles was a Lifetime Member of #560 Legion. He enjoyed soccer, darts and shuffleboard. He is survived by his wife Helen, children Patricia, James, Andrew, Jay and Kim, his brother Joe Thomson, Greenock, Scotland and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his daughter Helen Regimbald and seven brothers. The funeral was held on October 30, 2000. Pallbearers were James Thomson, Andy Thomson, Jay Thomson, Paul Treneer, Chris Treneer and Dave Treneer. Interment St. Mary's cemetery. 020707
