SHELLEY, Charles Albert Peacefully at Kingston General Hospital on Thursday, November 25, 1999. Husband of Isabell and the late Roberta Mae Shelley. Dear father of Shirley Vaughan, Picton; Charles "Billy", Kingston; Alice Hill, Picton; Louise Laraby, Arden; Violet "Hope" Hill, Napanee; Terry, Napanee; Ron, Tichborne; Pat Hill, Verona. Step father of Richard John, Picton. Sadly missed by his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Survived by brothers Henry and Sam. Predeceased by brothers Jim and Jack. Resting at the Wannamaker-Tierney Funeral Home, Napanee, for service in the chapel on Sunday, November 28, at 1:30 p.m. Interment St. Alban's cemetery , Adolphustown. Friends will be received on Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Donations to the Diabetes Association or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. 027210

Jeanne is the beloved wife of Tommy Whitehead of Kingston. Dear sister of Anthonius van Paassen and his wife Helene and Nicolaas van Paassen and his wife Maria, all of Holland. Sadly missed by her sisters-in-law Hilda Hay of Lindsay; Jean Ashwell of Australia; and brother-in-law George Whitehead and his wife Maria of Yuma, Arizona. Also remembered by her nephews Alexander van Paassen (Ami) of Holland; Bill Hay (Jane) of Barrie; and nieces Sandra van Paassen of Holland; Janet Davidson of Lindsay; and Toni Pilgrim (Jeff) of Kingston. Cremation. HOWARD, Evelyn At the Kingston General Hospital on Wednesday, March 8, 2000. Evelyn (Morris) Howard, beloved wife and best friend of the late Ronald Howard. Fondly remembered by her sister in law Margaret Howard of Dartmouth, N.S. and nieces and nephews: Samantha Sanchez and her husband Tim of Helena, Montana; Russ and Gale Howard of Kingston, Paul Howard of Dartmouth, N.S. and her many nieces and nephews in England. At Evelyn's request there will be no visitation or funeral service. A Graveside Interment Service will be held at Cataraqui cemetery (enter from Sydenham Road gate) on Saturday, March 11 at 10:00 a.m. Rev. William Clarke officiating. Loved father of Ritchie McIntyre (husband of Stormy) of Kington, Robin McIntyre (husband of Kathy) of Finch and Candy (Mrs. David Nugent) of RR 2, Berwick. SCOTT, The Reverend Helen Isabelle Stover Died at the Penticton Regional Hospital on Tuesday, March 7, 2000. Helen is survived by her loving family; daughters Keely Scott (Jeremy Rittwage), Patti Gano; sons, Darcy and Michael (Kim); grandchildren, Samuel Robert, Casie and Birch, Jenna and Jessica; sister, Betty Jeanne Kippen (Jack) of Amherstview, Ontario; brother, Howard George Stover (Joanne) of Napanee; nephews, Michael and Peter; nieces, Kerry (Derick), Kimberley (Jon) and Jacquie (Joe). Helen had a long, remarkable career with the United Church and touched the spirit of everyone she met. She was ordained in 1966 and served the church in Airdrie, Edmonton, Calgary and Penticton. She had been the minister at Parkdale United church in Calgary for 18 years and Penticton United Church for the past 4 years. A Memorial Service to Celebrate Her Wonderful Life will be held at Penticton United Church this Saturday followed by a service in Calgary and Parkdale United Church, 2919 8th Ave. N.W. on Wednesday, March 15th at 7 p.m. and at Riverside United Church, Yarker, Ontario at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Mission & Service Fund c/o any United Church or Project Ploughshares (w.w.ploughshares.ca) or the National Office, Conrad Grebel College, Waterloo, Ontario, N2L 3G6 would be appreciated.
