Jeanne is the beloved wife of Tommy Whitehead of Kingston. Dear sister of Anthonius van Paassen and his wife Helene and Nicolaas van Paassen and his wife Maria, all of Holland. Sadly missed by her sisters-in-law Hilda Hay of Lindsay; Jean Ashwell of Australia; and brother-in-law George Whitehead and his wife Maria of Yuma, Arizona. Beloved husband of Gloria McIntyre nee McLennan and former spouse and friend of Melba McIntyre of Moose Creek. SCOTT, The Reverend Helen Isabelle Stover Died at the Penticton Regional Hospital on Tuesday, March 7, 2000. Helen is survived by her loving family; daughters Keely Scott (Jeremy Rittwage), Patti Gano; sons, Darcy and Michael (Kim); grandchildren, Samuel Robert, Casie and Birch, Jenna and Jessica; sister, Betty Jeanne Kippen (Jack) of Amherstview, Ontario; brother, Howard George Stover (Joanne) of Napanee; nephews, Michael and Peter; nieces, Kerry (Derick), Kimberley (Jon) and Jacquie (Joe). Helen had a long, remarkable career with the United Church and touched the spirit of everyone she met. She was ordained in 1966 and served the church in Airdrie, Edmonton, Calgary and Penticton. She had been the minister at Parkdale United church in Calgary for 18 years and Penticton United Church for the past 4 years. A Memorial Service to Celebrate Her Wonderful Life will be held at Penticton United Church this Saturday followed by a service in Calgary and Parkdale United Church, 2919 8th Ave. N.W. on Wednesday, March 15th at 7 p.m. and at Riverside United Church, Yarker, Ontario at a later date.
