BANKS, Irene May - passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital on Saturday, November 27, 1999, age 79 years, of Waterloo, formerly of Port Elgin and Burlington. Mrs. Banks was born in London, England and came to Canada in 1945. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church in Kitchener. Predeceased by her loving husband of fifty years, Edmund C. Banks; dearly loved mother of Carol and Bob Richmond, Virginia and David Atkinson, Susan and Steve Milligan, Geoff and Beth Banks, David and Linda Banks and Janet and Glenn Lewis. Loving grandmother of Bruce and Darlene, Michael and Erin, Julie and Cathy, Gary and Tina, Shari and Paul, Amanda, Lindsay and Peter, Daryl and Sasha, Graham, Kelly and Christopher. Loving great-grandmother of Sarah, Mitchell, Megan, Mark, Devin, Drew, Jessica, Jaimi and Joey. Also survived by her sister, Vera Todd and her brother, Arthur Shaw (Marie) and sisters and brother-in-law, Hilda and Sandy Banks, Molly Banks and Aileen Shaw. Dearly missed by very special friends in England, Eileen and Harold Belcher. Mrs. Banks' family will receive friends at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo from 7-9 p.m. on Monday (today). The complete funeral service will be held at St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church, 23 Water Street North, Kitchener on Tuesday, November 30, 1999 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Canon Neil Carver officiating. Cremation to follow. Donations to the HopeSpring Cancer Support Centre in Waterloo, St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church or to the charity of your choice. "She's together with Dad again."

BENNETT, Arthur Hugh Martin "Art" - Peacefully, at the Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital, Burlington, Ontario on Sunday, November 28, 1999, in his 78th year. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 43 years, Maureen, daughter Karyn and her husband Derek Baker, son Russell, brother Tom and his wife Joan Armstrong-Bennett of Peterborough, sister Joan Haddon of England, Kathleen and George Thompson of South Africa, and his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sister Valerie Mudge. Arthur was an R.A.F. veteran of World War II (1940-1947), a long-time employee of the City of Burlington's Planning Department, Philips Planning, and a volunteer at the Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital. Many thanks to Drs. Cuddy and Love and the staff at Joseph Brant. He will also be missed by Tao, Petey and Benji. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop-light north of QEW), BURLINGTON (632-3333) on Wednesday 7-9 p.m. where a Service of Remembrance will be held on Thursday, December 2, 1999 at 11 a.m. If desired, expressions of sympathy to the Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital Foundation or the Halton V.O.N. would be sincerely appreciated by the family.

Survived by sons, Felice and Romeo, and grandchildren, Michael, Maria, Dean, Rosanna, Tullio, and Romeo in Canada, also sons and daughters, Tony, Frank, Maria, Rita, Liliana, Pina, Carmelina, and seventeen grandchildren in Italy. Mass will be held at Blessed Sacrament Rectory, corner of 305 East 37th Street and Fennell Avenue, Hamilton, Ontario at 7 p.m. Tuesday, November 30th.

BUSZOWSKI, Ruby - On November 29, 1999, in her 83rd year, at St. Peter's Hospital. Ruby has gone to be with her husband Steve and her daughter Renee. Will be sadly missed, always loved and cherished by daughter Rose and husband Steve Binch; son Stephen and his wife Fern. Loving grandmother of Alyssa, Rebecca, Amanda and Furlie. Dear sister of Margaret and her husband Bob, Herman and his wife Mary, Susan, Bill, Jake and his wife Susan, Kay and Isaac and his wife Margaret. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends. Ruby was a longtime member of Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #58. Friends will be received at SWACKHAMER, BLACHFORD & WRAY FUNERAL HOME, 1341 Main Street West (opposite McMaster) on Thursday from 11 to 12 noon. Funeral to follow in the Memorial Chapel at noon. Interment at Woodland cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Funeral Service will be held at Temple Anshe Sholom, 215 Cline Avenue North, Hamilton on Monday at 1:00 p.m. Interment in Anshe Sholom cemetery. FRAIL, Ricky Lewis - In Kelowna, B.C., on November 28, 1999, in his 44th year, having faced his illness with constant courage and patience. Dear son of Esther and the late Carl Frail, and husband of Gerri. Will be fondly remembered by his brother Owen, brother Gregory and his wife Loretta and their sons, Nicholas and Neil, sister Rosamond (Revell) and her husband Stuart, cousin Mike Frail and his wife Crystal, and his dear friends in Ontario. Sincere thanks to the caring people at Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto and the Kelowna General Hospital, and to those who stayed with him, prayed with him, and comforted him in his final days. A memorial service will be held at a later date. If desired, donations in Ricky's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

FRALICK, Lilian Alice (nee Spring) - Suddenly on Thursday, November 25, 1999, in Florida, in her 82nd year. Lilian, of Barrie, was the dearly loved wife of Gordon Fralick. She was predeceased by her beloved baby daughter, Gail. She is survived by her twin sons, Paul Fralick of Hamilton, his wife Jennifer Powell-Fralick and their children, Caitlin and Noah and by Dr. Richard Fralick of Toronto, his wife Nancy Figueroa and their sons, John, Michael and Jamie. She leaves her loving sisters, Gladys (Jim Hepburn), Betty (Doug Bedford) and Edna Mae (Murray Longson). She was predeceased by her brother Gordon. She will be remembered by Rev. Cannon John and Gwen Fralick and her many nieces and nephews. Lilian, who was born in Stroud, lived much of her married life in Leaside, before returning to Stroud in 1974. She graduated in 1942 from Women's College Hospital School of Nursing and had a dedicated nursing career at Women's College Hospital, the East York Health Unit, the Ontario Ministry of Health and the Simcoe County Health Unit. Funeral Services will be held at the McClelland & Slessor Funeral Home (Jennett Chapel), Barrie. Visitation will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday, December 1st at 11:00 a.m. In memory of Lilian, donations may be made to the Hospital for Sick Children, Department of Neurology or to the Canadian Cancer Society. May you rest in peace, Mom.

A Memorial Service will be held at the HYDE & MOTT CHAPEL, Hagersville on Thursday, December 2, 1999, at 1 p.m. Burial of cremated remains to follow at the Hagersville cemetery.
