BOYSE - At the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital on Sunday, August 15th, 1999. Clayton Christopher Boyse of St. Thomas in his 78th year. Beloved husband of the late Mrs. Irene (Smith) Boyse (1984) and dear father of Dianna and her husband George Weston, St. Thomas; Jim and his wife Laurena Boyse, Copenhagen and Harold and his wife Lillian Boyse, London. Predeceased by two brothers Charles and D'Arcy Boyse. Clayton is also lovingly remembered by three grandchildren Carol, Clayton and Chase. Clayton was a dedicated Crossing Guard in the City of St. Thomas for thirteen years after retirement fromthe City's Meter Department. Resting at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin St., St. Thomas where funeral service will be held Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. Interment Dorchester cemetery. Visitation Tuesday from 2to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Remembrances to the Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. A Tree will be planted as Living Memorial to Mr. Boyse.

Brown (1966) and Leslie Lineham (1998), in her 93rd year. Mother of Mrs. Carolyn Kneeshaw and her husband Ray of St. Thomas and Mrs. Sheila Leibold and her husband Al of Birmingham, Mich. Step-mother of Mrs. Joyce Schippling and her husband Fred Laurenson of St. Thomas and Mrs. Shirley Bowen and her husband David of Castlegar, B.C. Sister of Mrs. Grace McConnell of St. Thomas and Mrs. Pearl Booker of London. Also survived by a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to her husbands, Mrs. Brown Lineham was predeceased by 3 sisters, Mrs. Edna Mulligan, Mrs. Mary Overholt and Mrs. Dora Kerr and by 3 brothers, Robert, John and George Brooks. Friends will be received at the Sifton Funeral Home, 118 Wellington St., St. Thomas on Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be conducted Thursday at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Elmdale Memorial Park, St. Thomas. Great-grandfather ("GGpa") to Benjamin and Spencer Bellerose. Brother-in-law of Grace Kerr and Alberta Kerr; brother of Ernie and his wife Florence; Martha Taylor; Ena Brown and her husband Charlie; Stella Greenwood and her husband Ted. Brother-in-law of Georgeana Dobie and Elizabeth Fisher. Predeceased by brothers Albert and Clifford; sister Lillian Dolbear and her husband Ernie; sister-in-law Mary Hudgins (Dobie) and her husband Henry; brothers-in-law John Dobie and Harold Fisher. Also fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Wilbert was born in Alvinston, served in the Royal Canadian Air Force from 1942-1945. He provided many of the children of St. Thomas with clothing as the owner of Bambi Shop from 1948 until he retired in 1981. He also served many years on the Session of Knox Presbyterian Church. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 17 at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin St., St. Thomas and the funeral service will held there onWednesday, August 18 at 11:00 a.m. Contributions to the Parkinson Foundation or the Parkwood Hospital Foundation will be gratefully received.

Widow of John A. Westerhout (1990) and mother of the late Miss Marie Westerhout (1950). Sister of Mrs. Marjorie McLellan of Sarnia. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and daughter, Mrs. Westerhout was predeceased by 2 sisters, Mrs. Lena Yeo and Mrs. Ann Simmons and by 3 brothers, Thomas, James and William Roche. Friends will be received at the Sifton Funeral Home, 118 Wellington St., St. Thomas on Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Angels' Roman Catholic Church, St. Thomas on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. Interment in Holy Angels' cemetery. Prayers will be recited at the funeral home on Tuesday evening at 7:30 p.m.
