CZICHRAK - Passed away, peacefully, at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital on Monday, January 3, 1999, Mr. Mykola "Mike" Czichrak of Tillsonburg and formerly of Mabee's Corners (RR#6 Tillsonburg) at the age of 85 years. Born in the Ukraine, May 14th, 1914 son of the late William "Bill" Czichrak and the late former Anna Duch, both of the Ukraine. Mike, with his family emigrated from the Ukraine to Canada in 1950. He was a former tobacco farmer in the R.R. #6, Tillsonburg area until his retirement in 1985. Mike is survived by his devoted wife of 49 years Rozalia ("Rose") Czichrak. Much loved father and father-in-law of Joseph and Carol Czichrak of Tillsonburg. Proud grandfather of Steve, Gregory and Carrie. Also survived by his sister Maria in the Ukraine. Predeceased by a brother Ivan and a sister Katerina, both of the Ukraine. Also predeceased by two sons Marvin in 1952 and George in 1968. Public visitation Tuesday January 4th from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Verhoeve Funeral Home, Tillsonburg. Public Prayers are Tuesday evening at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass of a Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, 51 Venison Street West Tillsonburg by Rev. Father Michael Langan and Rev. Father Yareslov Tabaka. Interment to follow in the Tillsonburg cemetery. Memorial donations to the St. Mary's R.C. MCCORQUODALE - Peacefully at the St. Thomas Elgin-General Hospital, the way she lived, with dignity, on Tuesday, January 4th, 2000, Katherine Isabel (McLachlan) McCorquodale of Belmont in her 89th year. Katie was a teacher with the Middlesex Board of Education for many years. Beloved wife of the late Colin Elliott McCorquodale (December 1986). Loving mother of Jean and her husband Jamie Buchanan of Belmont, Anne Goddard and Gordon Holland of London.
