HICKMAN, Dorothea Jean, Reg. N. (nee Harwood) On January 6, 2000, at Kingston General Hospital, following a brief but courageous struggle. Dorothea Jean Harwood, of 106 Richardson Drive, Kingston. Survived by her husband, John A. (Jack) Hickman, and her sons Brian of Vancouver, and Sean Hickman and daughter-in-law, Kim Moore of Kingston. She was born in Windsor, ON, the daughter of Charles Henry Harwood and Mae Lapierre, and was predeceased by two brothers, Neal Harwood and Charles Frederick Harwood, both of Windsor, and by her beloved sister, Patricia Sharkey, late of Boynton Beach, Florida. She will be sadly missed by numerous nieces and nephews and their children. In accordance with Dorothea's wishes, her remains were donated to the Anatomy Department of Queens University to further medical research. The family invites friends to join us in the Celebration of Dorothea's life at a Memorial Mass to be held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Palace Road, on January 10, 2000 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, we ask that you contribute to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the charitable cause of your choice. We acknowledge the assistance of the Robert J. Reid Funeral Home in finalizing arrangements.

KAYE, Eileen Frances 73 years, January 5, 2000 at Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital - Hotel Dieu Site. Beloved wife of the late Samuel Kaye. Loving mother of the late Beverly Micallef and Robert Kaye of B.C. Loving grandmother of the late Rosemary Micallef and Brenda and husband Evano of Windsor. Dear sister of Garvis Shaw, Josephine Malott and James and wife Donna Shaw. Will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Will be missed by many friends, especially Charlene Clark and family. Mrs. Kaye was a Wren and a member of the Royal Canadian Navy Club of Windsor. She played in the Wednesday night league at Playdium. Loving father of Diane Grieve and husband Bob, of Windsor; Don "Sparky" Leonard and special friend Claudette St. Louis, of Windsor; Carol Staley and husband Richard, of Tecumseh; Christine Adraktas and husband George, of Newmarket; Karen Gayowsky, of Tecumseh. Dear grandfather of David, Janet, Chantelle, Brandon, Lauren, Tim, Melissa, Stephanie, James, Alisha, Nicholas, Sydney, Amanda and Paige. Predeceased by his parents Margaret and William Leonard and Aurelia and Ernest LaPointe. Dearest family friend of Nelly Schuurman. Dearest father-in-law of Tammy Leonard and Paul Alexander. Norm will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by his family and friends. After 30 years of dedicated service at Chrysler Canada, Norm enjoyed his retirement by assisting Windsor Chrysler with their dealer trades, where he was affectionately known as "The Transportation Manager". He was also a member of C.A.W. Local 444 and the Knights of Columbus Fr. Nicholas Point Council #4375 (Tecumseh). Visiting Sunday from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. at the Marcotte Funeral Home & Chapel 12105 Tecumseh Rd., Tecumseh. K of C Prayers Sunday at 7:00 pm. Dear son-in-law of Edna McKinnon, Windsor. Dear nephew of Beatrice Ray, Winnipeg, brother in law of Lil Neroda, Winnipeg, and also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. Neroda served with the Royal Canadian Navy during WWII. He was retired from the Canadian National Railway, a former member of the French Canadian Club, the Foremens Club of Windsor and the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen. At Mr. Neroda's request, there will be no Visitation or Service. Cremation has taken place. In kindness, Memorial donations may be made to the Palliative Care Unit at Met Hospital.
