COCCHETTO, Augusta (nee Zanetti) passed away peacefully at Hotel Dieu Hospital, at the age of 92 years, on Thursday, March 9, 2000, with her loving family at her side. Born on June 23, 1907 in Treviso, Italy. Mrs. Cocchetto is predeceased by her loving husband Augusto (1970). Dear mother of Bruno and wife Lia, of Windsor, Luigi and wife Adelina, of Sterling Heights, Mich.; Giuseppe and wife Ida, oif Tilsonburg, Ont; Aldina and husband Bruno Cusinato, Giancarlo and wife Eleanor, all of Windsor; Franco and wife Luciana, of Lakeshore; Mirella and husband Nello Modolo, of Windsor; Loredana and husband John Naccaratto, of LaSalle; and the late Clara Marcon (1975) and Carlo (1940). Dear mother-in-law of Giuseppe Marcon, of Windsor, Cara Nonna of 19 grandchildren and 1 late grandchild, and Cara Bis-Nonna to 15 great-grandchildren, and 1 late great-grandchild. Beloved sister of Maria Biadene, of Italy. Beloved Zia of Aldo Cocchetto, as well as many other nieces and nephews. Mrs. Cocchetto was a member of the Senior Citizens Organization, and the "Madre Christiane" (Christian Mothers Society) both of St. Angela Merici Church. Resting at the Windsor Chapel Funeral Home , 1700 Tecumseh Rd. East, on Saturday, March 11, 2000 from 7-9 p.m. and Sunday from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers Sunday at 7:30 p.m. Funeral service Monday, March 13, 2000 at 9 a.m. then to St. Angela Merici Church for funeral mass at 9:30 a.m. Entombment to follow at Heavenly Rest cemetery. As your expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre, The Scalabrini Foundation For The Poor, or to any of Windsor's Palliative Care Units, at the hospital of your choice.

CRAIG, Lilian May (nee Mason) 91 years. Died March 9, 2000 at her long time residence Huron Lodge Home for Seniors. Beloved wife of Austin Craig, Amherstburg. Dearest mother to Garnet Douglas and wife Ruth, Newmarket, Heather and husband James St. Pierre, Windsor; five grandchildren also survive, Craig, Alison and Meghan St. Pierre, all of Windsor and Brenda Smith and husband Tim of Aurora, Karen Craig of Brantford. Lilian fought Alzheimers Disease for a number of years. She was a Sunday School Teacher at former Walker Road and Grace United Church. She was the first Sunday school teacher at Glenwood United Church and was also a charter member and was first president of Paulin Memorial and Glenwood United Senior Citizens Groups. Visiting in the Walter D. Kelly Funeral Home, 1969 Wyandotte St. E. from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Friday. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2000 from Glenwood United Church, 1825 Grand Marais Rd. W. at 10 a.m. Rev. Dr. R.J. Roberts and Chaplain Joy Veres officiating. Interment Victoria Memorial Gardens. In kindness memorial tributes may be made to the Alzheimer Society or the Huron Lodge Resident's Life Enhancement Fund would be appreciated by the family.

Dear father of Nancy Mousseau, Kathleen and husband Eric Lampman, all of Windsor, and the late Danny. Dear grandfather of Julie, Michelle and Laura; Brenda and Rebecca Jahn. Dear great grandfather of Rayshawn and the late Austin. Dear brother of Mrs. Eva Paquette, of London, Reg Meek and wife Winnie, of Windsor, and the late Kay and William. Dear brother-in-law of Mary Doetch and Patricia Simpson, and predeceased by Patrick McMahon and Eileen Chris. Many nieces and nephews also survive. Mr. Fountain was Veteran of WW.II, was a member of the Essex-Kent Scottish Regiment, was a former employee of the Ford Motor Co., and was most recently retired from DaimlerChrysler Ltd. A private family service, including cremation, has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to Windsor Chapel Funeral Home, 1700 Tecumseh Rd. East.The following poem was a favourite of Mr. Fountain. Ponder Why? The clouds, the sky, I sit and watch They all pass by, I try to visualize what is to come, And think of what has gone by. I hear the sound of jet planes, Ploughing through the sky, Wondering where it all leads to, Have we time to say "bye-bye"? Dear great aunt of John Jr. Schiller, Michael Schiller, Richard Schiller and Katherine Schiller. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Pre-deceased by twin sister Bernice Schiller (1992) and sisters Margaret Meurer, Louise Droelle, Babe Guenot, Marion Kotlar; brothers Edmund Martin, John Martin, Stanley Martin, Francis Martin. Miss Martin was the assistant treasurer of Riverside Town Hall and then moved to the Windsor City Hall where she worked in the Tax Department from which she retired. She was very active in Civic Services both in Riverside and Windsor. Visiting at The Windsor Chapel Funeral Home, 1700 Tecumseh Rd.
