DUPUIS, Eugenie Marie (nee Proulx) 100 Years, peacefully on June 6, 2001 at the Windsor Regional Hospital Center Western Campus. Beloved wife of the late Henry (1988). Dear sister of the late William, George, Joseph, Thomas Proulx and Roseanna Laporte. Dear aunt of Jeanne and Marcella Proulx, Robert and Irene Proulx, Raymond and Ina Proulx, Isabelle Harshaw, Doris Reid, Dorothy Vernes, Eileen Cooney, Dorothy Proulx and nieces and nephews in Massachussets and Quebec. Aunt Jenny was a self-employed bookkeeper for many years. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 9 at 10:00 a.m. from The Marcotte Funeral Home and Chapel 12105 Tecumseh Rd., Tecumseh (735-2830) to the St. Gregory The Great Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Interment at The St. Anne cemetery. As your expression of sympathy a Donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated. Many thanks to the devoted nursing staff at Windsor Western Hospital. A tree will be planted in memory of Eugenie Dupuis in the Janisse, Marcotte, Melady, Sutton Heritage Forest. A dedication service will be held on Sunday, September 30, 2001. All are welcome.

Beloved Nonna of Gerry Petrucci, Bruno Gabriele and wife Maria, Aldo Gabriele and wife Linda, Robert Gabriele and wife Annette, Gino Mastronardi and wife Penny, Angela Mastronardi-Cook and husband Mike, and 6 great grandchildren. Predeceased by one brother in Italy. Angela was a longtime member of the Leamington Roma Club. Beloved life-long companion and best friend of Betty Ann Price of Tillsonburg. Loving father of Jo-Anne Pettinato and Bill of Windsor, Kathleen Foreman and Douglas of London, John LeClair and Debra of London, Theresa Mullins of Kingsville, Barbara Laframboise and Murdie of London, Joseph LeClair and Carol of LaSalle, Christine Laframboise and Kevin of Windsor, Anne Brough of Windsor and step-father of Jim Price of Oshawa and Colleen Price and Michael of Alberta. Cherished grandfather of 19 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and 4 step-grandchildren. Also survived by 2 sisters Gertrude Tessier and Gino of Windsor, Elizabeth Bauer and Lorne of Courtland and 2 brothers Richard LeClair and Gail of Kingsville, Jack LeClair and Nita of Windsor and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by 3 brothers Orville, Gerald, and Arthur. Friends will be received at the Ostrander's Funeral Home, Tillsonburg on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church on Monday, June 11, 2001 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Father Michael Langan officiating. Interment Tillsonburg cemetery. A Royal Canadian Legion Memorial Service will be held on Sunday at 7 p.m. auspices Tillsonburg Branch #153. Beloved grandson of Norman J. & Rita (Deschamps) Meloche and Ken & Geraldine (Demers) Bergeron and the late John Perry. Throughout his life Aaron was enthusiastically involved with the Belle River Scout/Venturers Group; he had attained the rank of Sargeant in the Royal Canadian Army Cadets Branch #1112 (Tecumseh) where he received the Canadian Forces Cadet Certificate of Commendation and the Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem Meritorious Certificate. Aaron unselfishly gave the gift of sight through Organ Donation Ontario. Donations may be made in his memory to L'Essor Secondary School Bursary Fund. PATENAUDE, Theresa N. Late of Galesburg, Mich. and formerly of Windsor. passed away Thursday June 7, 2001 in Kalamazoo, MI. Theresa was born April 14, 1927, in Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada, a daughter of Edgar and Emma (Paquette) Marchand. She moved to Michigan in 1966. In Kalamazoo she was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. In recent years she made many friends at Covenant Senior Day Center. Theresa was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters and 4 brothers. On July 28, 1945, she was united in marriage to Mr. Conrad Patenaude, who survives. Also surviving are 5 children, Rochelle Mika of Worth IL, Noel and Linda Patenaude of Battle Creek, MI, Elaine Weaver of Galesburg, MI, Conrad and Doreen Patenaude of Hilton Head, SC, and Kevin and Kim Patenaude of Portage, MI; 11 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; a sister, Laura Easton; 3 brothers, Donald and Joyce Marchand, Jim and Doris Marchand, and Rene Marchand; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 3:00pm Monday afternoon at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 936 Lake Street, with Rev. Fr. Michael Hazard officiating. Cremation will follow services and inurnment will be held later in Heavenly Rest cemetery , Windsor. Friends may meet the family Sunday from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Langeland Family Funeral Home, PORTAGE CHAPEL, 411 E. Centre. AVEY, John William January 13, 1947 - August 16, 2001 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of John William Avey. He died peacefully at home in Collingwood, Ontario after a short illness. Dearly loved and missed by his wife Doreen and daughter Jennifer Sykes. John is the much loved and devoted son of Louise and the late William Avey of London, Ontario. Beloved brother of Joan and Paul Page of Toronto and special uncle to Emily and Timon. John will be sadly missed by his cousins Marion Wanklin, Robbie Bruce, Fred Cott, Stuart Shafer, Susan Shafer and their families. Dear son-in-law of Marjorie and the late George Braham of Stroud and brother-in-law to Kathryn Holtz, Marilyn and Bob Scott and Peter and Tonka Braham and their families. John spent many years living in Halifax, Toronto and Windsor. John was much loved for his kind nature, great compassion for people and his incredible sense of humour. He touched many people in his short life and always made them smile. He has left behind friends across the country who will always miss him and remember him with fondness and laughter.
