COOKSON, Tom Suddenly at the West Haldimand Hospital, Hagersville, Wednesday, August 15, 2001, of Nanticoke in his 63rd year. Dear father of Janis, Victoria B.C.; Joan, Grand Bend; John, Toronto; Jimmy and his wife Cindy, St. Thomas. Loving grandfather of Courtney & Chase. Dear brother of Diane Ursu and her husband Roman, Orangeville, Susan Taylor and her husband Chuck, Windsor. Following Ton's wishes cremation has taken place and private service will be held Monday, August 20, 2001 at Waterford United Church at 2pm. Rev. Larry Wiegand officiating. Donations to Men's Mission Services London would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements are entrusted with the Thompson-Mott Funeral Homes, Waterford, (519) 443-5332.

GIBB, William passed away July 5, 2001 in Arizona at the age of 90. Loving husband of Sarah. Beloved father of Ellen and husband William Mack (Maryland). Brother of George (Essex). Predeceased by his wife Mable (nee Croft) (1985) and by his son William James (1993), and his brothers James and Alec and sisters Mary, Janet, Margaret and Elizabeth. He is survived by grandchildren: Joel & Matthew Gibb, Laura Taylor, Gwen Ross and Dan, Kate and John Mack and 5 great-grandchildren. He was a devoted uncle to many surviving nieces and nephews. Mr. Gibb graduated from Windsor Walkerville Tech and was a King Scout and Scout troop leader in Windsor before attending General Motors Institute of Technology in Michigan. After receiving his degree from GMI, he worked for General Motors from 1940 to the end of the World War II in the aircraft industry. From 1945 until his retirement in 1973, he was an Engineer and Supervisor with the Fisher Body Division of General Motors. After retiring, he moved to Sun City, Arizona and continued to spend his summers at his cottage near Colchester. A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, August 25, St. Stephen's Anglican Church, 5280 Howard Ave., Oldcastle, (969-7808). As your expression of sympathy donations may be made to Scouts Canada Windsor Chapter, 3085 Marentette, Windsor, Ont. N8X 4G1, or a charity of your choice.

Predeceased by her beloved husband William Donald (1991). Loving mother of Jerry and Dorothy Hotson of Big Bear, Ca., Bill and Mary Anne Hotson of Windsor, James and Denise Hotson of McGregor. Predeceased by her beloved daughter Leone MacDonell (1986). Dear grandmother to Kevin and Debbie MacDonell, Susan and Brian McEldowney and Barbara MacDonell, all of Windsor, Don and Heather Hotson, Heather and Nenad Bozin, both of California, Jerry and Shawna Hotson of Amherstburg, Jillian Hotson of McGregor. Great-grandmother to Nadia MacDonell, Alycia and Amanda McEldowney, Devin and Sahaley Hotson, Sarah and Mathew Bozin, Jaden Hotson. Survived by sisters Iva Hedden and Dorothy Belfet of London. Predeceased by sisters Olive and Evelyn of London. Survived by sister-in-law Agnas Hotson, brother-in-law William Powell and son-in-law John MacDonell. Mrs. Hotson was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Bethel 320 and a member of the Ambassador Baptist Church. Dear grandmother of Jason and Gregory. Beloved sister of Patricia Sinasac and Dr. Michael Kane and his wife Ann. Predeceased by her brothers Leonard and Dennis and her sister, Mary Kulyk. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. At Helen's request, there will be no visitation at the funeral home. A cremation will be held. Beloved grandmother of Patricia & Robert Gay, Windsor, William & Gayle Neal, Essex, David & Kerri Neal, Saskatchewan, Kim Neal & Cliff Anders, Windsor, the late Richard Neal (1983), Blair & Bill Malian, Gross Pointe Michigan, Tom & Franchine Neal, LaSalle, Linda Neal, Cottam, Jeff & Sandy Neal, Amherstburg, and Shelley and Bob Dinunzio, Amherstburg.
