Dear son of Keith and Diana Laur of R.R.#7 Tillsonburg, loving brother of Kathy and her husband John Gratton of London, dear grandson of Rita Toll of London. MERVIS - After a 13 year struggle with cancer at his residence on Thursday, August 10, 2000. Thomas Richard Mervis of R.R.#2, Aylmer in his 43rd year. Born in St. Thomas on January 20, 1958, beloved son of Henry and Germaine (Van Hende) Mervis of R.R.#2, Aylmer. Dear brother of Linda DeMunck and husband Gabe of Burford and Ron Mervis and wife Lisa of R.R.#2, Aylmer. Loving uncle to Jason, Sandra and Christine DeMunck. He will be sadly missed by his uncle Cy Mervis of Aylmer and his aunt Mary Palmer and husband Maurice of Vienna. Tom was a lifelong resident of R.R.#2, Aylmer, was an avid sports fan and played slo-pitch for many years. He worked on the family farm, Imperial Leaf Tobacco and 3M for 15 years. He was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Roman Catholic Church and a 3rd degree Knight with Knights of Columbus. Friends may call at the H. A.
