Mrs. Hilditch emigrated from England in 1950 and has resided in Sarnia , having worked in the physiotherapy department at St. Joseph ’s Hospital for 20 years. Pat, who was born and raised in Sarnia, served in the Canadian Army in W.W.II then spent his working career in the Chemical Valley, Imperial Oil, Dow Chemical, Welland Chemical and C.I.L. He was an avid sportsman, musical chorister and political activist. He served for 18 years on Sarnia City Council working on many Boards and Commissions during those years. When he was asked why do you stay at it? - He replied in the words of Aristotle 'Politics is the science that studies the supreme good for mankind'.
