Also loved by his grandchildren John, Chris, Shannon, Marc, Shelly, Tanya, John, Danielle (Tara), Ryan, Paul, Carly and Adam, great grandfather of Cole, Bryna, Theresa and Kiigan. Horrell, Joan Edyth (nee Dee) Retired longtime employee of Uddeholm Steel after a long and courageous battle with cancer, Joan passed away at Soldiers Memorial Hospital in Orillia on Friday, October 18, 2002. Beloved wife of 51 years to Ken. Dear mother of Ken Jr., David, Pat (husband Jim), Sharon (husband Ken), and George. Grandmother of 10 grandchildren. Lovingly remembered by her brother Bill Dee and his wife Wendy. Fondly remembered by many of her cousins, nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place and a Special Celebration of Joan s life will be held at St. Luke s Church at Prices Corners on Saturday, October 26, 2002, at 12 noon. Take highway 12 west from Orillia, The church is just beyond Horseshoe Valley Road on the left-hand side.
