Loving mother of Robert Martin & wife Maggie of Richmond Hill, Peter Jacob & wife Gail of Napanee, Jacob Peiter of Vancouver, B.C., Mary Elizabeth & husband Bob Wilson of Eady. GILL, Margaret Dorothy Katherine ("Bunny") (nee Hoare), RN (Graduate of Sick Childrens' Hospital School of Nursing, Toronto) - at the Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital on Monday, December 23, 2002; in her 96th year. Margaret (Bunny) Gill of Orillia, beloved wife of the late William Stephens Gill, was the cherished mother, companion, and friend of Peter and wife Pat Gill of Orillia, Mardee and husband Bruce Budd of Edmonton, and David and wife Marlene Gill of Orillia; adored grandmother of Donicka, Jeremy and wife Donna, Tehranna, Teague and wife Nancy, Nicholas, Trevor and Ryan; great grandmother of Gaige, Montana and Jade; devoted sister of Eric and wife Rosemary Hoare of Sechelt, B.C., Peter and wife Beverly Hoare of Orillia, and Hugh Hoare and Natalie Hoare (both deceased) - and many nieces and nehews. She will be forever in our hearts. In celebration of Margaret's (Bunny's) life, a memorial service will be held, in the spring, at St. James' Anglican Church, Orillia - with interment at St. Andrew's - St. James' cemetery , Orillia (date to be announed). Charter member and trustee of Westmount United Church, Fifty six year member of I.O.O.F. # 320; Member & Carpenter with the R.C.A.F. for 6 years and Couchiching Rebekah Lodge #100 for 40 years, very active in all branches of the Order. Beloved husband of Jean Downs(nee Jennings) and the late Ethelena Davidson. Step-father of Rodney Downs & wife Maureen of Mississauga and Allan Downs & wife Valerie of Toronto. Sadly missed by neices and nephews, Carroll Carter (Russell), Kenneth Hipwell (Betty), Janice Anderson (George), John Hipwell (Mary Anne), Phyllis Ferguson (Bruce), David Boadway (Lucille) and several great & great great neices and nephews. Beloved daughter of the late Victor & Gertrude Waddington of Orillia and loving sister of Donald and his wife Margaret of Bracebridge. She is lovingly remembered by her nephews Edwin and his wife Julia of Seattle, Washington, and Dennis and his wife Janet of Toronto, by her great-nephew Andrew and great-niece Sarah and by her extended family in England. She was a Life Member of the Girl Guides of Canada, with over 40 years of adult service, and a member of the White Pines Trefoil Guild. Kathleen previously lived in Belleville, Timmins, Woodbridge and Toronto where she will be remembered by numerous friends in the community and her sister Girl Guides. Visitation will be at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St., N., Orillia from 7 to 9 P.M. on Monday, December 9th.
