Weir, Teresa Mary Teresa was a graduate of St. Mary’s School of Nursing in Kitchener. She served in World War II with the Army Medical Corp. #10 Hospital in Norway and Belgium. Peacefully in Owen Sound on Sunday, May 25, 2003. Teresa Mary (nee Woolsey) Weir of Owen Sound. Beloved wife for almost 56 years of James Joseph Weir. Dear mother of Mary Weir and Paul Neubauer of Whitby, Anne and Doug Sutton of London, Jane and John Pollard of Dundas, Joe Weir of Strathroy, Paula Weir and Mel Burnie of Hanover and Tony and Martha Weir of Kitchener. Beloved grandmother of Donald, Mike, Kevin, David, Jenna, Bethany, Matthew, Ben, Hanna, Hayley, Sara and Lindsay. Friends are invited to the Tannahill Funeral Home for visiting on Tuesday from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary’s Church on Wednesday, May 28th at 11:00 a.m. Interment in St. Mary’s cemetery in Owen Sound. Sadly missed by his great nieces Cheryl and her husband Dan Frederick of London, Lee Anne and her husband Brian O’Leary, Pam and her husband Ted Coulter and his great nephews Stephen Hargest and his wife Darlene, Greg Hargest and his wife Lisa all of Owen Sound and Brad Priebe. Predeceased by his brother Elmer Ruhl, his sister Leila Priebe, his niece Marie Hargest and his nephew Melville Priebe. Also survived by his brother Craig Ruppenthal of Owen Sound. Loved son-in-law of Shirley and Ross Spencer of Owen Sound. Terry will be joining his late parents Menno and Mieletta Ruppenthal in heaven. Sadly missed by his daughter Robyn of Montreal, Quebec.
