GILBERTSON, WILLIAM DAVID Peacefully entered into rest on Tuesday January 28, 2003 in his 55th. year after many years as a longtime resident of the West Haldimand General Hospital, Hagersville. Beloved son of Olive and the late Robert Gilbertson. Loving brother of George and Carol, Pearl and Harry Buckle, Bob and Marg, and Earla and Mike Hynes. Dear uncle of Darrel and Valerie, Scott, Dale and Trish, Shawn and Christine, Robbie and Doug Long, Shellie and Rob Langeraap, Matthew and Connie Buckle, Michele and Bill Woodruff, Christine and Al Lunn, and 16 great nieces and nephews. Throughout the years of valiant effort and struggle, Bill's spirit and will was an example to all his family. What the strength of the human spirit can overcome and endure has been an inspiration to all. The family will honour Bill's life with a visitation at the Hyde and Mott Chapel, R.H.B. Anderson Funeral Homes Ltd. Hagersville, on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held from the chapel on Friday, January 31 at 1 p.m. Interment at Gore cemetery.
