Hayward, Ralph Frederick

Hayward, Ralph Frederick, (Fred). Long time employee of Blowtherm Canada Inc. passed away after a lengthy illness at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie on Sunday January 12, 2003. Fred Hayward of Barrie was in his 59th year. Beloved husband of Jean. Loving father of PeterHayward (Shirley), Lucy Sutton (Tim), Rita Saunders (Shawn), Rachel Gillespie (Doug), George Marcoux (Louise Store), Dennis Marcoux (Donna Gareau), Arthur Marcoux (Sandy Hussin), Diane McKnight (Jim), Marie McDonald (Bruce), Lynn Marcoux, and Dave Marcoux (Tammy). Dear Poppa of 15 grandchildren. Fred is also survived by his brother Irvine Casey Hayward and his sister Susan Barker both of New Brunswick. Friends may call at the STECKLEY-GOODERHAM Funeral Home (Clapperton and Worsley Streets ), Barrie on Wednesday January 15 from 2:00 p.m. A memorial service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.

KELLY, Kenneth George After a lengthy illness at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie on Monday, February 3, 2003. Ken Kelly in his 79th year beloved husband of Elizabeth Kelly of Barrie. Dear stepfather of Lynda and her husband Terry Arnio of Barrie. Loving grandfather of Kristin and Tara. Dear brother of Laura Gorman of Ottawa, Ronald Kelly of St. John, New Brunswick, and the late Wallace Kelly. Friends may call at the STECKLEY-GOODERHAM FUNERAL HOME, Clapperton and Worsley Sts., Barrie on Tuesday from 2:00pm until 4:00pm and 7:00pm until 9:00pm. Complete service in the chapel on Wednesday, February 5 at 11:00am. Cremation. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Royal Victoria Hospital Regional Cancer Centre.

Dear brother of Sharon Smith of Kanata, Joseph Leduc and his wife Deborah of Bradford, Terry Leduc of Toronto, Allen Leduc of Halifax, Brian Leduc and his wife Sue of Owen Sound, and Kimberly Donais of Kanata. Dear son-in-law of Roy and Ann Grantham of Kingston. Brother-in-law of Chris Grantham of Kingston, Alec Grantham of Kelowna, and Kevin Grantham of Kingston. Fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the STECKLEY-GOODERHAM FUNERAL HOME, 201 Minet s Point Road at Yonge Street, Barrie, on Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., and on Friday morning from 11:00 a.m. until time of service. Loving father of Nancy LaPlante and her partner Omid of Toronto, Christopher LaPlante and his wife Kimberly of Ingleside. Loving grandfather of Brittany, Jared and Dylan. Dear brother of Harold and his wife Dorothy, Gerry and his wife Alyson, Mary Frances and her husband Phil Brunt. Predeceased by sister Imelda and brothers Bill, Pat, Leo and Don. Brother in law of Joe Brunatti, Jean LaPlante, and Alva LaPlante. Loving uncle of many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Home Clapperton And Worsley St., Barrie on Tuesday from 2:00pm until 4:00pm and 7:00pm until 9:00pm. Funeral mass from St. Mary s Church, Barrie, on Wednesday, January 22 at 10:00am. Interment St. Mary s cemetery , Barrie. If desired memorial donations may be made to the Grove Park Home Building Fund or the Parkinson Foundation.

Dear sister of Donna Collins-Geddes and her husband David of Everett and Richard Charles Collins and his wife Janet of North Rose, New York. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. A special thank you to the RVH Oncology Unit and the Bayshore Nursing Staff for their care and compassion. Loving aunt to Wesley and Heather. MOORE, Percival Gordon (Gale) VE3OUN peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie, on Monday, February 3rd, 2003. Gale Moore of Barrie, in his 76th year. Survived by Elsie, his wife and best friend of 54 years, sons and daughters; Ron (Colleen) of Oshawa, Doug (Pat) of Orangeville; Randy (Donna) of Ajax; Darlene (Noel Banavage) of Barrie; Brenda (Jeff Ansley) of Ajax; Barbara (Kevin McWatters) of Toronto, and Ken (Kristine) of Ajax. He was always very proud of his 18 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter. Also survived by brother Duncan and his wife Jackie of Hawkestone, and Bonneah Forbes of Midland. Predeceased by sister Marilyn, and parents Harold and Inez of Dalston. In 1950 Gale began a career with the Canadian Government with whom he was employed in various positions until his retirement, at which time he was the Regional Superintendent, Telecommunications, Maintenance and Operations, with the Canadian Coast Guard, Central Region, which covered coastal and inland waters of Ontario and Manitoba. He and Elsie retired to Cannington, Ontario in 1984, and recently came home to Barrie where he grew up. Friends may call at the STECKLEY-GOODERHAM FUNERAL HOME, (201 Minet s Point Road at Yonge Street) Barrie, on Wednesday, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. A complete funeral service will be held at Westminster Presbyterian Church (170 Steel Street, Barrie, L4M 2G4) on Thursday, February 6th at 1:30 p.m. Spring interment Dalston cemetery. At the request of the family, if desired, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Westminster Presbyterian Church or the Royal Victoria Hospital Regional Cancer Care Centre.

Oldfield, Jake (Stillborn) At the Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie on Wednesday, January 1, 2003. Jake, beloved son of Greg and Shawna Oldfield of Horseshoe Valley. Brother of Carly. Grandson of Robert and Karen Oldfield of Barrie and Dave and Margo Wittick of Horseshoe Valley. A family graveside service was held at the Barrie Union cemetery. A special thank you to friends and family for their support, their caring and their kind thoughts. Jake will be sadly missed by all.
