On Sunday May 18, 2003 at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe, Dinie Hogeveen (Pennings) went home to be with her Lord after a very short struggle with cancer at the age of 68 years. Dinie was the loving and loved wife of Andy and adored mother of 6 sons and 19 grandchildren, Jerry and Annette (Roberto and Henry) of Cambridge, Henry and Sharon (Joshua, Shannon, Trevor) of R.R. 5,Hagersville, Rick and Lenore (Scott, Brett, Carissa) of R.R. 1, Jarvis, Roger and Suzanne ( Shayla, Alex, Adam) of R.R. 4, Simcoe, Jim and Lisa (Brandon, Danielle, Andrew, Alyssa) of R.R. 22, Cambridge, Mike and Barb (Jill, Elizabeth, Martin, Leroy) of R.R. 5, Simcoe. On Tuesday July 29, 2003, The Lord called home His children Wanda age 41 years and son Scott age 10 years from their home at R.R. 1, Jarvis. Wanda was the beloved wife of Steve and dear mother of Rachel, Dean Schinkel, Crystal, Erik Van Groningen, Derek, Shaun, Heather and Natasha. Sister of Clarence and Michelle Houwer, Richard and Janet Blyleven, Leah and Rex Wamsteeker, Nancy and Ken Zantingh, Helen and Pete Tiersma, William and Valerie Blyleven and the late Marilyn Houwer. Scott, besides his Dad, brothers and sisters is also survived by his great grandmother Irene Buma, grandparents Len and Dini Blyleven, Edna (Salverda) and Johannes Stapensea and the late Peter Salverda. Wanda was sister-in-law and Scott was nephew to Don and Sandy Salverda, Randy and Julie Salverda, Chris Salverda and Lori Salverda.
